Bought warrior orochi 3... Same old dynasty warriors type game, but that's why I love them

The Japanese voices does irk me slightly as I don't really follow what I need to do if I haven't read the subtitle. Plus I had to do the first level about 5 times as I kept getting killed by the same character. Had a special move that took your whole life bar.

Ultimately it will be one of those games I will have and play for years

Continuing on with my playthrough of Murdered Soul Suspect. Just reached the police station in search of some young girl. Game is still fun, a lot better than I thought it'd be.

I'm now playing Uncharted 3, but so far it's a little disappointing after the first two with very little action so far. I'm only on chapter 4 though.

playing through the 2nd season of telltale's walking dead series.

some of the best storytelling and use of choice mechanics I've ever seen in a game. maybe even the best. i don't want it to end.

Some of the other characters added to it I found to be really weird.
Like what the fuck are some of them doing there :dk:

Yeah I know what you mean. Maybe I should have just waited for dynasty warriors 8 to be cheaper

Still playing Dracula: The Resurrection. Just arrived at Dracula's castle and met his first wife Dorka. What a stupid name. Time hasn't been kind to her face.

Finished it. Enjoyable point and click horror. Only three or so hours long but it's really cheap so perhaps worth a look if you're interested in the genres.

Diablo 3
Started this late last night and I'm absolutely loving it. I've picked the wizard for my first character. I normally pick warrior types or bow wielders in these types of games, but I fancied something different. Currently inside the Drowned Temple.

Just progressed onto Act II. That cutscene with Tyrael was fooking epic.

You'll have fun with that game mate, it's good for a play through. I didn't like it that much to start the massive gear grind of repeating the same Acts over and over to try and get better shit, but it's good fun.

Blizz always nail their cutscenes

Loved Diablo 3. If you're a completionist, I'll warn you now...The 5 million gold achievement is a piss take! I've got a level 60 +6 paragon barbarian with all gear aimed at improved gold find and finished about 9 playthroughs...I'm not even half way yet!

I'd get the expansion, Reaper of Souls, the gold find is drastically increased plus the game is immensely more enjoyable with a lot of additional content compared to the base game.

I play it on Xbox! :ffs: For some silly reason, Reaper of Souls is like a special edition, rather than a DLC, so I cant get it without starting the whole game again.

You wouldn't need to start again, you'd just carry on and the level cap would be raised to 70. Reaper of Souls for the console includes the base game.

Are you sure? What else does it actually add? Any more story content or just gear?

Still find it strange it hasnt been released like a DLC, seems very odd the way they've done that. Ive got the Game of the Year edition of Arkham City for example which includes all DLC, but if I had the ordinary version, I could still download it all.

Finished Diablo 3. Absolutely fantastic game, really enjoyed it. Think I'll go ahead and try one of the other characters now. Perhaps the barbarian.

It's an expansion pack, so it's more than just regular DLC that you'd get with other games.

Basically it changed quite a lot, and since then there's been further patches to try and fine tune set items, legendaries, etc. RoS brought in Loot 2.0, which changed how loot worked, and more specifically, legendary items. You're more likely to find them now, whereas when Diablo 3 was first released you'd have to farm for hours and hours before you even got a sniff of a legendary item. And to add to that, it wasn't guaranteed to roll with your classes primary stat. This still isn't 100%, but 9 times out of 10 it should roll correctly for the class you're playing.

It added more difficulties i.e. Torment 1-6, new Crusader class, an extra act, Adventure Mode, the ability to reroll item stats to something useful (enchanting), transmogrification, etc. Basically it added a shit ton of extra content and it's probably in the best state it's currently been in. Not to mention the addition of Rifts and Greater Rifts, which is their attempt at end game content. Basically the gist of it is to try and get as high a level as possible within 15 minutes before you move on to a higher level, either solo or with a group.

Continuing on with my playthrough of Murdered: Soul Suspect. Just finished the cemetery section of the game; Really hate those demons due to killing them being a little clunky. Still can't guess who this Bell Tower killer is.

I've just spent the last two weeks completely enveloped by the Mass Effect series (yes bit late I know) and safe to say it's emotionally destroyed me.

'Enveloped': I thought that was what dirty scumbag coppers did to civilians at democratic protests, I didn't realise it reflected an emotional state.

No no, that's "contained", something I'm struggling to do with the emotions Mass Effect has made me feel.

That and I've had a gin.

Just got Ni No Kuni. Made the mistake of downloading it through the PSN store though.

Of course, I'm also still playing through FF7.

Finished Murdered: Soul Suspect. I really enjoyed it. Good story, very atmospheric and fun to play. It's nothing amazing mechanically and it doesn't do anything new, but it's fun all the same. 9/10.

GTA V, PES 2015 and Football Manager 2015.

I very rarely play games though, the days of having that luxury is long gone but I do get the odd hour once in awhile.

Playing Cities Skylines and not even remotely enjoying it. Probably the worst city building game I've played, even worse than the recent SimCity game. Will give it another hour and then I'll uninstall if I don't start to enjoy it.
