There's a thread started on Deva Chat calling for Jon McCarthy to go. Trouble is we unexplainably gave him a 2 year extension at Christmas. Completely out of his depth unfortunately.
We could be dropping into a relegation battle. 46 points may not be enough.

He's not out of his depth in my opinion, he's just being ridiculously stubborn by refusing to play the system that served us so well up to Christmas.

Five at the back at home to a similarly out of form side is ridiculous. It's no wonder the players confidence is so low. That said, we didn't deserve to lose today as Eastleigh were as bad as us.

Only positive was Dawson, he looks a nice find.

3-0 flattered Wrexham, could easily have been 5 or 6. Very poor side, whose only tactic was to kick us. Once that failed they had nothing.

Wrong. Lots of teams have come here and played a proper game, Torquay, Woking, Braintree etc came and had a go and caused us problems without resorting to filthy bastard tactics. You lot came and barely had a shot, kept niggling, whinging and kicking anything that moved, potentially putting Ethan Pinnock out for the season and were generally anti football.

That's why it was nice to smash you, tactics like that, especially with nothing to lose for your lot, deserve nothing less.

Bloody long day again just like Gateshead and we never really turned up. We took the lead thanks to a goal straight from a corner and we're dealing with everything until the ref gave a very soft penalty and then after that bar the last ten minutes we were second best.

Barrow are a team of Giants and we failed to deal with it and that's not been the first time recently. Our current form is worrying And Aldershot Tuesday is now a very important game we can't afford to lose.

The Barrow number 7 is a wanker, goading our fans after winning whilst our boys came over to clap us. Rightly so our lads stuck up for us and a bundle was the outcome. Shame it ended that way as Barrow are a decent club let down by that prick, hope someone snaps his leg.

We're in trouble. Bar that 5 in a row just after Xmas we've been mostly poor with the odd good performance thrown in. Injuries and a lack of experience have killed us.

I'm expecting us to finish 5th or 6th. It'll be tight either way. Aldershot is a big game as we can give ourselves an important cushion over them. Going to be tough.

What was very impressive about Wrexham were their very loyal and noisy supporters.
Most arrived in a mini-bus and coach.
The mini-bus apparently had a stop at bottom of hill in Nailsworth where they made their presence known in a good and noisy manner.
When they arrived at TNL about an hour and half before game they all debussed singing at top of their voices accompanied by two drummers.
Big, big smiles all the way round TNL. It galvanised the South Stand to respond in kind.
Understandably the away fans did quieten down as the game progressed and they started conceding goals.
Off the pitch one of the best games of season.
Well done to those Wrexham fans who made trip across the border to Gloucestershire.

Think we'll end up with something like 90-93 points at a push, provided we keep up our form. That wont be enough to win it, but it would give us a good chance of second.
