We are away at Tamworth and its a game i have little to no confidence of grabbing anything from, they utterly demolished us at our ground.

only hope is our good form means confidence and they have some pressure on them after a crap christmas period chucked them out top 5.

Tough game for us today at home against a very much improved Full time Nuneaton Town (who had the luxury of travelling up yesterday)
Tommy Wright should get a warm welcome, he's still well thought of by the fans.

I expect Exodus Geohagnan to get heckled all game as the pantomime villain for his short infamous spell with us in the past and the manner of his departure.

Not sure what to expect, we won't keep a clean sheet but will hopefully just edge it.

Salford 1-0 Kiddy. Been such an even game but we've switched off once with after they hoof it into the box.

Well fuck off Billy Heath. Good turnout from town fans, outnumbering home fans is impressive considering the shite on display. Decent first half, actually tried to play some football and came close to scoring on a number of occasions.

Then came the usual Billy Heath team talk where I presume he says 'come on lads get it in the air some more'. We hoof all second half, miss a penalty and then for the whole of the half, fans chant several 'Heath out' style chants. That useless grappler hone gets sent off the fucking twat. Then we concede to the shittest team I've seen for a long time. Fans were raging and actually celebrated stalybridge' goal as the performances are clueless, inept and embarrassing. The team's a shambles, the club's a shambles, the fan's are a shambles. GET OUT HEATH

WTF is going on at Halifax? Losing at f'ing Stalybridge is surely not on.
Quite. It's a rollercoaster at this club, always has been, brought home when you hear 500 fans calling for the man who half of them were demanding was sacked 18 months ago. "Neil Aspin my lord, Neil Aspin, Oh Lord Neil Aspin". I fucking love this club. :bdick:

Haha yes. The motivational powers of full time contracts.
A crazy game. Alfreton were terrible at the back but thought Clayton came on and did well. Great bloke and player. Law looked a bloke out of ideas and motivation. The match also included the oddity of a centre back scoring 4 playing up front.

After scoring more goals in 45 mins than we had shots on target in the previous 3 games that's the beauty of football.

How are Stockport getting on?

Very nicely. Unbeaten in seven, six of which we've won. Only conceded one in the last six league games, and that was some absurd goal from a missed back pass. Second in the away league table. All the flaws that dogged us early in the season look to have been ironed out. I wouldn't say it's free flowing football (no one at this level bar perhaps Fylde really is) but Gannon has built an effective unit that can dominate a game long enough to create and convert chances and then defend leads comfortably. You just need to look at how Alty have fared since Young's departure to see what a decent job he's done cleaning up the utter chaos that was left.

Unfortunately however it looks like we're going to lose Danny Lloyd imminently. If we were going to keep him until the end of the season I'd be very confident of finishing in the play offs. As it is it will depend on who we manage to get in to replace him as he really is our main goal threat and creative force. Gary Stopforth is also off at the end of Jan to Australia. He'll be tough to replace too.
