947 Barnsley at Griffin Park.
Is that it? Box Office claimed 5 days ago we'd sold "950ish" and then yesterday morning "just short of a thousand".

And I paid on the day as I imagine a few dozen others did. Someone's cocked up along the way again. Probably didn't count POTD supporters, same as Brighton.

Still a good following though considering we'd lost 5 out the last 6.

According to the match report on our club site.

Fair enough. Looked on both ours and Brentford's twitter and there's nowt so I'll stick 947 in the table.

Despite that, it was the best crowd I've been in for noise and atmosphere for some time. Made tonnes of noise from start to finish, love the new Hourihane song based on that Kungs/Cooking on 3 Burners song that's been in the charts recently. Fantastic support today.

There was over 1900 derby at us and they packed the away end out so must have been just over 1900 Wednesday fans last week

Why did you take so many up there?

The only reason I would have gone would have been for the Bobby Robson links. So I wonder if that may have been a reason a lot went. It certainly wasn't to go and see some more scinitilating stuff from the Town! Plus it's a ground we haven't been to for a while!
We have good away following but it gets boring when it's the same teams and grounds every year

Yeh,I get the Robson link, but he passed away a while ago now so I wouldn't have thought that really would have made that much difference.
I suppose the lure of playing a glamour club with a 50,000+ crowd, etc is the main draw.

Closer to 3k today I believe. Shame we were outclassed but enjoyed nevertheless and the Bobby Robson chants sung by both sets of fans was a nice touch. Other than that, Newcastle fans are fucking SHITE. Worst I've seen this season.

Its a funny one our ticket prices. Think we have 7 categories, against you the cheapest adult match day ticket was £42 on the kop, upto about £48 elsewhere in the ground. However we also have a membership scheme whereby supporters get £10 a ticket off bigger games and £5 a ticket off less attractive games if tickets are pre bought. As Walkley says the cheapest ticket potentially is £20 but we don't know who this will be against (maybe nobody) as the club set the prices about a month before each match. We also I think 4 match day prices, under 11, 11-16 and 65 and over, 17-21 and adult. So at any given match, you could be paying 1 of any 28 different prices. Still with me? No I thought not. Anyway basically if we were to say somewhere between 28-32 quid would be about the average, cheapest adult match day ticket over the season, I don't think we would be far out. If your lost reading that I am too trying to explain it. Basically club wants us all to be season ticket holders or members and isn't interested in the casual fan. Looking at the crowds so far this year it seems to be working, not sure how though in all honesty. Oh also our cheapest tickets is what away fans pay, so if you get robbed so do we, if you don't get robbed neither do we (but it means your a bit shit).
cheapest ticket against us was £42 :bl: that is scandalous.

A whole bunch of posts seem to have been deleted. Guess things went off topic.
