Hmm, but we were talking about the shitty, corny ones. The racist ones are disgusting.

I've seen you mention the nick nack paddy whack one a few times over the years so I assumed it was the one that stuck in your craw the most.

For me it's the actually offensive ones that annoy me rather than the stupid ones.

If we are talking stupid then "mauled by the tigers" is far worse than anything else in existence.

I can't say that I approve of the Carling but no one is perfect!

Joel Matip's game by numbers vs. Chelsea:
100% aerial duels won
95% pass accuracy
4 blocks
3 tackles won Superb.

Liverpool were outstanding and were worthy winners, although they did their best to shoot themselves in the foot again in the 2nd half.

I wasn't sure why Klopp signed Wijnaldum as I didn't think he was needed, but he definitely had his best game in a Liverpool shirt last night, even if a goal still eludes him. He has so much energy and once he gets starts scoring goals he'll be a great player for us. My man of the match was Jordan Henderson, even without his goal I thought his passing and energy were top-class, and he seems to be improving game by game in his new position. Really impressed by Matip too who looks very classy on the ball but also unbeatable in the air. He looks a top defender.

Emre Can, who I'm a big fan of when he's 100%, is really going to struggle to get back in the starting 11.

I agree re Wijnaldum and Matip, both of them played very well last night. All of our summer signings look good so far, aside from Karius obviously who's yet to play a competitive game.

Agreed, although not big name players, they seem to have gelled and the balance of the squad looks promising to potentially challenge the top 4. Just need to get some kind of consistency going now, but I do like the way Klopp tends to get the best out of average/above average players... It's just frustrating that we all know what this team is capable of but usually tends to fail on the "easier" games.

If you try to attack Liverpool you're gonna have to score 4 or even 5 goals to win the game, because they'll tear you a hole with the speed and movement they have up front and out wide. Their problem is when teams get their noses in front and then put everyone behind the ball, as Burnley did to great effect a few weeks ago.

Thats why Hull game will probably be one of the biggest game/test of the season. Can really set the tone for rest of the season.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy in the end. Could have been a cricket score had Liverpool not completely taken the foot off the gas in the 2nd half.
