Seems like quite a innocent insult compared to some of the stuff I've read in other forums and in the shout box . Not having a go just seems strange that Eastleigh fan gets warned for tosser when other insults are let go .

It doesn't make a great deal of difference , a lot stronger insults are thrown about all the time with no warning , again not having a pop just wondered if the moderating on the non league section is tighter than elsewhere on the forum ?

I hope that doesnt appear to be the case as that isnt my intention. I am just Moderating as I have done on previous forums, albeit not football ones.

Fair enough , but posters call each other c*** and worse all the time throughout the forum with no warnings .

Any player who got completely embarrassed by Adriano Moke is not, never has been, nor ever will be "the best left back in non league".

Funny player is Moke. I've seen him play a few times, for County and Macc. When he runs with the ball he looks scary fast but his final ball is often poor. I remember reading on the County forum a song (to the tune of Hokey-Kokey naturally), which started "He puts a shit cross in, the ball goes out".

Eastleigh a professional setup?

When I went earlier in the season I had to get a train to an out of town airport, cross a mud path in a country park, over a rotten wood bridge to cross a stream, on to a windy country uphill road with no pavements to a ‘stadium’ directing away fans with a cardboard sign limbering off the top of a shed roof to a four step terrace with a thin tin sheet roof.

Millers Intelligence has clearly moved to Eastleigh.

He is a very strange one. Early in the season he would pick the ball up 30 yards from his own goal and in no time be 30 yards from the oppo goal, great outlet to release pressure and gain ground. The he stopped doing that but started picking it up further down the pitch and skinning full backs for pace but no end product. He always seems reluctant to back his full back up into the box and put them in danger of giving a Penna away which I think he's perfect for. But I suppose with his history of depression it doesn't take much to knock his confidence and see him drift out of games. Same as everyone down here, they're at this level for a reason.

That's how I got there as well except I walked through a business park for the last bit. I dread to think of the safety implications when they play a team with a really large away following in the middle of winter.
Someone said it before, but it's worth repeating. They won't win promotion with Richard Hill as manager. It doesn't matter how many talented players you have if you're not able to organise them as a team.

Context is important. It looks quite cliquey in the shoutbox (not a criticism, just an observation), and more like conversations I would have down the pub where mates quite often use that kind of language in banter.

If someone is going to troll and then get abusive, I think getting warned for it is perfectly fair.

True enough. I was a bit surprised when he got the Macc job, as County fans didn't think he was up to much in the Conf North. That said, County released a few players in 2014 who wound up doing OK in the Premier - Aman Verma and Kieran Charnock for example. I wouldn't have minded Moke at Altrincham, just for his pace and the fact that he plays on the right.

He's a very strange one in fairness. He was with us in Conference North and whilst he showed decent flashes and patches - I never really saw him in the Conference Prem, never mind playing a big part in a play off chasing team! His passion and workrate was clear to say though - seemed a thoroughly decent guy.

Just shows what a run in the side and a bit of confidence can do for you.

Fair enough , I know now . Insults are fine if in "banter" but not in general discussions . Got it

I'm sure anyone that gets offended by colourful language can report it to a moderator. I'm not so sensitive that I get offended on behalf of others.

And I never said it was ok to insult anyone.

I'm not offended by anything on here . Been round the block too many times for that , just wanted a few things clarified and they have been . Let's leave it at that .

You jealous bitter tossers.
Woking a bigger club than Eastleigh these days - behave!!.
Not one FL club had come in for him, so that's just BS, ask his "pal".
Same money, same deal (just 1 year).
Facts are, Joking FC, i mean Woking FC, are going nowhere fast, Eastleigh are, so its an obvious choice for the player, who isn't motivated by money, but wants a realistic chance of promotion & to be involved in a more professional set up.

As for the twat who said i bragged about the money we were paying him, i never mentioned money, i just said he was on the same money he was getting at Joking FC, which is the truth.'I've seen the contract. Just ask the bloke who knows him so well...

Come off it mate, you haven't seen any contract. Only people that have are the chairman, the player, maybe an agent and a couple of directors. Usually a manager doesn't even know the ins and outs of his players' contracts. And if you are any of the above, I'm sure your colleagues would be a bit miffed that you're taking to a forum to tell everyone about it.

Eastleigh are chucking money at it, same with Barrow. Only we can admit it.
