We have 15 I think, so 4 subs at the moment?
He is our fourth centre-back, so I would expect one isn't even going to make the bench if we start the season with 17/18 in the squad.

Apologies, we've just been signing so many players I've lost clearly lost count!

(I forgot poor Danny Whit...)

He went a bit tubby last season.
Yeah I remember he didn't look too good when we played them at our place. Our midfield already looked set so he'll probably be a backup.

We've signed a guy called Noe Baba (who was the triliast I posted about in the transfer rumours). Can play at the back or in midfield.

Good signing in my opinion.
I always rated him when he was at Eastleigh.

Jai is a very gifted footballer, who sees things & does things during a game that other players wouldnt even attempt. WiIl score some clever goals if you play him as a no.10 or in behind the main striker.
His weight/look is very deceptive and i know he always came out in the top 3 fittest players at our club after all the pre-season fitness stuff. Has legs like tree trunks though, which give the visual impression he's heavy, but a quality ball player in the right team for sure. A good signing for Maidstone.

He was always a good player against us until this season. When he played in April for Borehamwood against Macc, he looked overweight and disinterested.

Yeah, I thought Jai Reason was well into his 40s based on his most recent visit to Holker Street.

Boyce should be a good signing for Eastleigh.

He left here a year too early and has subsequently wasted the last 4 years only getting 10-15 games a season. We found him a little short tempered and lost his rag a few times, which didn't result in sendings off, he just lost concentration and became frustrated for the rest of the game and was a bit erratic. I suspect he's corrected that now.

Should win his aerial battles but lacks a little pace, although that shouldn't cause too many issues.

Boyce was truly dogshit for us on loan a year ago.

The worst centre half I've seen play for us this century. Awful.

Jai played under 4 different managers in his final half season at Eastleigh & Ronnie Moore in his stint at the club didnt know how to use him as he doesn't like no.10s. He then got a short term contract to play infront of 150 fans at Boringwood each week. That's enough to make anyone disinterested..

I'm inclined to agree with you on that last part. It always feels like a pre-season friendly when you go to Borehamwood.

Fraser Kerr, who impressed in both of his trial games for us has signed for Gateshead.
From Askey's post game interview yesterday, sounds like Kerr had agreed to sign for us before suddenly changing his mind for Gateshead.

This lad really impressed me last season. And was promptly released by Braintree a few weeks later...

He did score against us in 2016. He's been signed for 3 months to cover for Ross Worner who still has some injury issues from the end of last season
