Steve's come back this pre-season and has lost a LOT of weight. Not even our biggest player anymore, I'd give that to Alabi or Cook tbh. (Alabi is solid muscle to be fair).

We've signed James Rowe (which might get confusing) from Cheltenham following a successful trial

Rowe's a good player. He was a decent player for us when he got a chance, neat and tidy footballer but perhaps a little lightweight. Good signing with the right partner.

Rowe is a quality player at this level; he was not bad in League One for us a few years ago.

Very good technically but easily brushed off the ball at times, as Belmont says. I think he will suit Aldershot's style of play well.

Not a good signing - he's stepped up to this level on three or four occasions and never really been able to cut it. He's solid, but skinned for pace and liable to a ridiculous mistake.
Looked past it for us more than a year ago, so hard to see him being more than back-up for Flyde.

Yeah he's a centre back. Looked decent in the pre season friendlies. I think he'll be back up for Langley and tunni. He's our 3rd centre back at the club. Slightly worried about the lack of numbers we have at the minute. Is 18 enough in this league?

Not really. We've always aimed to have 22 since we got promoted, and we don't even have a reserve team. That's also been bolstered with a lot of loan kids from league teams. You'll sign two or three more in August, I'm sure.

I thought he did a good job for us in league 1, was never going to go any higher but I'm surprised nobody in league 2's had a look at him. If he reaches the level he was at pre-injury then I think you've got a good player. IMHO.

We had him on loan last season. He looked decent in the 20 mins he played, but bear in mind this was against North Ferriby. He then got a mysterious hamstring injury and was never seen again. Good to know that he's still alive!
