I have been reading this board pretty much for a year now but just never got round to signing up. I must say though that this is the single most bitter post I have ever read, it's fairly embarrassing. Anyway, to the other Stockport fans, has Dennis only played 37 games in the last two seasons? Aside from his injuries, he looks like he could turn out to be quite a good signing.

Yeah he does get injured a lot, maybe it's just bad luck cos one injury he got elbowed in the face by his own player in training (I think) and gets a lot of muscle injuries.

Our manager transfer listed all our players and Dennis is the one most wanted to keep, 19 goals in 37 games is a good record. Good finisher, most of his goals come from inside the box and is capable of scoring a few good ones, so he's definitely improved since he was last at Macc.

Yeah, bit gutted about it as we offered him a deal too and it looked like he might sign, but he has a kid on the way and they'll pay him in diamond encrusted dummies most likely and he'll be closer to home. The goals dried up in his second loan spell but his performance levels were good throughout.

Yeah I've been told he is on £625 a week, so you'll be right there.

In terms of the level we're at, I'd say he is a as close to a natural finisher we'll get, his strike rate for us is better than 1 in 2.

Someone has quoted that he has scored 100 goals in 131 games (think it might just be league games). I don't know how true it is and I appreciate it's all at lower levels, but it's quite impressive nonetheless.

Where's that from? On wiki it says he's got 19 in 37, so assuming those 37 are league games he can't have played 24 cup games.

We've made another good signing, Gareth Roberts signs from Chester, who apparently did well for them last season.

This is what we've needed for ages, none of these 18 year old college kids.
