Because we've signed a squad player who didn't set the world alight during his months long loan with you guys? Nice one mate!

From various other reports round the web he's a pacey winger with a trick or 2, sounds perfect for what we'll use him for ie a sub to bring on for either counter attacks or to mix our style up a little.

Still a few more signings to add to our fairly strong looking squad, if you'd like a wager Pliny then i'd be more than welcome to it on the 1FF Challenge thread

He wasn't even a good impact sub for us. He's shite. He couldn't change a thing he's good at running but useless with a football. Your other signings are very good and with 22 man squad I doubt you'll see much of him.

File him under "Brabin's utterly stupid signings" and move on.

Just an ageing centre back borrowed from Stamford, but he helped give us the incredible run-in of the most enjoyable season I've spent watching us so far. Hell, even Marlon was part of that run-in in some way, it's just he never gave us any goals or assists while doing it. Or stopped any goals going in, or helped us dictate possession...

We have signed young Port Vale defender Nathan Smith on a three month loan deal.

Disappointing to see Mikey Poke has joined the vision. Should be a good signing.

Don't know a lot about Smith, but he did well on loan at Stafford Rangers last year and has recently signed a two year pro deal, so must have some level of competence on the field.

Good signing at that level. Did ok in 30 minute cameos for us but someone we had to replace if we were going to move forwards.

Will frustrate at times running down blind alleys but the lad will try his heart out and a good run of games should do him the world of good.

Yes Really happy to have signed. He showed some promise during last pre season before going to join you guys. I think he could easilly get 10-15 goals at this level
