We've sold around 200 tickets ahead of our game this evening. No idea how many Luton will bring.

Checkatrade now using the 'so you're not supporting your team' line on fans who are boycotting the games.

Pretty shameful to be honest. Whole thing is a mess.

I saw that tweet. They've got no idea what they're getting into by poking supporters with that stick. You're right that it's a mess but idiotic social media shite like that gives it the potential to make things a whole lot messier.

They really haven't done themselves a favour here: pretty much any English lower league football fan will definitely not be using their services for long while yet.

They've fucked up sponsoring this. Probably thought they'd got themselves a bargain.

With the announcement suspensions not carrying over the football league are all but confirming this is a reserve fixture. Quite hope a lot of weakened teams are fielded to see if they try and enforce the fines.

Ludicrous, disrespectful, obnoxious and arrogant concoction of a competition.

Let's hope the final is Stoke under 23s versus west brom under 23s infront of an attendence of 1500.

Take the competition back to how it was and stop fucking about with it. Nobody gave a shit before, even less now.

Apparently Vale have made 6 changes for tonight's game and that is far more respect to this competition than it bloody deserves really. Hopefully our attendance tonight is sub 1000.

Six changes with the five left out not even on the bench. Hopefully across the board hardly anyone goes and we can stop the nonsense. Love my club dearly and would support them to the ends of the earth but some things are bigger.

Notice Charlie Adam is starting for Stoke U23s... England will massively benefit from that!

Dack and JET are both starting for us. Accident waiting to happen that....although I guess if Brad's playing a match then he can't be talking to other clubs!

Paul Tisdale named himself on the bench tonight and Pompy have made 11 changes from their last league game.

Sadly we've got a near enough full strength team out with Youth filling the bench including a 15 year old. Pretty sure they'll be less than a thousand there tho.

Well Luton are playing their development side - they make 11 changes since Saturday.
We have a 15 year old on the bench, who needed his headteacher to give him permission to travel.
And Luton are winning 2-0 after 26 mins.

Tonight's crowd at The Valley, doesn't look to be more than a few hundred.

"Giving the Trophy the respect it deserves"

"We'll make an odd change" - it was an odd change... 11 changes.

Bravo Nathan Jones.

We've handed plenty of debuts out, including an entire bench who has never made a 1st team appearances.

1,418 tonight. For the first time ever, I'm officially disappointed by having too many home fans there tonight.

Btw, are people planning to boycott the whole competition then, or just the reserve games?
