Great, now they're having a scuffle and Bennett's been sent off. Twenty seconds to go.

ETA Ought to add sounds like Bennett wasn't involved in the handbags so don't know what he's supposed to have done, commentators thought maybe made a comment.

Whistle gone right after the sending off. What a farce. Would have preferred a trip to Witton for the variety but relieved to be through whatever. No Dale Saturday then is a big price though.

Chester 2-1 Witton (Alabi (Pen), Durrell)

3 Red Cards, 9 Yellow Cards, Witton backroom staff sent to the stands, a penalty after just six seconds and a last minute winner. Hilariously bad game of football.

Tranmere, please recall Tolani Omotola from his loan at Witton, the lad is comedy gold and I want to see more of him. I love how he mistakes corner flags for goalkeepers. He also got sent off tonight for a combination of diving, dissent and shoving someone over. :fl:

Hes actually very highly rated, and has scored loads of goals there, must have had an off night...

Yeah just checked, 9 goals in 14 games. Based on these last two games I've no idea how!

We were absolutely dreadful. The worst I've seen us this season and I was at the defeats at York (4-1), Macclesfield (3-1) and Sutton (4-1). Completely clueless. The scoreline flatters us tremendously - Brandon Hall made at least three really high quality saves. Well done to Ebbsfleet, deserved winners.

If we play like that on Saturday then Guiseley will have no problem at all. And that's what is really worrying.

Not pretty, in fact it was largely aimless from us but we're through and off to play Southport next month. Danny Green won it with quite literally the last kick of extra time, a free kick curled into the bottom corner. A couple of people recorded it so I'm hoping it pops up online soon.

Edit: Wonderful, here it is.

Over two games I can't believe we conceded five goals to Harrogate. They had about four attacks all night tonight, and we still gave them two goals. It was one way traffic all night really, with the shitty conditions ruining the 90 mins.

Has Cox signed his first turkey for Barrow? Harry Panayiatou made his debut despite signing in August, reportedly picking us ahead of Dortmund (yeah, I know...) - let's just say he looked like he was trying at least.

He signed on 22nd September (not August) and wasn't match fit hence the delay in getting into the squad - that and 2 trips away for the Caribbean cup. Showed promise last night and his shot in extra time apparently did cross the line. i'd rather have a player like him whose work ethic fits in with Cox's "team DNA" than say a Miller who might unbalance the team/squad. As with most signings time will tell though.

Sounds like we actually turned up! Many Fleet there? I went to the pub instead.

September, same difference - it's been ages. I think some of it must be that Cox isn't totally confident in him.
Yes, it did cross the line, but the fact he didn't bury it from 2 yards out and instead scuffed at it certainly wasn't to his credit. I'm all for giving players a chance, and the conditions were terrible, but aside from a run across the edge of the area, he was awful last night.
Just can't see him getting many games ahead of Hannah at all.

We were dreadful yesterday, can't put into words how bad we were. Dartford were awful yet comfortably beat us. The lack of technical ability in the midfield without Moore is worrying.

Both sides should've had a penalty, referee was shit. 389 crowd (yeah, right).
Not an enjoyable night

Least you didn't knacker yourselves out with extra time and lose one of your best defenders to suspension. Suppose actually scraping a win sets us up slightly the better for Saturday though. Seems it was a second yellow for Bennett so just the game against you to miss I think.

We came close, I think I'd rather have lost than scored an equaliser, although I wasn't saying that last night. On that showing you're going to pummel us anyway so don't worry about it.

If Moore isn't back then put your mortgage on FGR because Stevenson and Parkinson in the midfield are atrocious. Would've rather seen Kinnear Jr in the middle of the park and I never thought I'd say that.

Agreed that he's 4th choice striker after Harrison, Bennett and Hannah - well probably 5th after playing Jordan Williams through the middle, but Cox's comments about him being the best player in training suggest that he has something about him - like most strikers I think a goal and a boost in confidence will do wonders for him - although baring suspensions he may not get much of a chance until the next lot of Trophy/Lancs senior cup matches. Saying that if Haworth doesn't improve he may get his spot on the bench

Hoofed in to the box straight from kick off, Hudson slipped as he collected it and then tripped their lad up as he ran on to it.

Mad, although probably was just outside the box.

Yes plenty of Ebbsfleet fans, probably about 200.
