I lost ten on the bounce, I think my good cup run kept me in a job. It was getting to the point where I was just clicking continue waiting for them to sack me for the last 3 games.

Ha, I've been there pal!

In other news I think I have completely botched this season up. Haven't strengthened enough, and injuries have murdered my small squad at the start of the season.

Honestly don't see me lasting until the summer at Blackpool. I'll see how it pans out but I haven't got much hope :(

Anyone ever come across Yussuf Poulsen? He's a 21 year old striker at Rb Leipzig and my scouts are raving about him, but he doesn't look that great.

His physical stats are mostly fantastic, and his work rate is superb, but otherwise he's average, or less than average.

Finishing - 11
Composure - 11
Passing - 10
Technique - 12
Decisions - 11
First touch - 11
Dribbling - 13

My best scout [JA - 18, JPA - 17] reckons he's a 4* player, leading player for most Premiership sides. I should add that I'm in my second season, competing in the Euro Cup and looking to finish top half of the Prem.

I've just done a future scout report for you. On my save (I know they differ but not extraordinarily), he stayed at RB Leipzig until 2021. He scored 13 or more in every season for them, before joining Swansea for £9.25m, scoring 10 in his first year.

You're right though, statistically doesn't look that good technically but his mental and physical stats are decent.

Cheers. Turns out they want £30.5 million, despite his value of £3.9 million.

I think not.

Okay, I resigned after 9 matches. I had a 20 man squad of which I had 7 injured. We'd won 2/9 and were bottom of the league with 7 points.

Bit of a shame, but I take the blame for not strengthening. The gap from L2 to L1 isn't much but L1 to Championship is more of a jump.

Within days, I've had an interview at Hibernian (9th in Scottish Championship), which I attended as I feel there is potential there. We'll see though.

After three months out I'm now at QPR. Midtable in the Championship, solid financial position. Will be aiming for the Prem in 18 months. :)

I may have just lost my saves :(

I had to uninstall Steam as it was broken and wouldn't repair, so unless I can find a way to recover my saves I think I'll have to make a new save.

Really can't be arsed to do the Barnet one to do all over again, someone give me a suggestion of a L1/Championship team please, while I cry myself to sleep.

If you've only had to get rid of steam, your saves should be safe, they should be in Documents>Sports Interactive>Football Manager 2015>Games...

If not, Walsall.

Check your trash..

Worked for me. Hope you can get it back!

Had a little look around at QPR and it is mental. £7.5m transfer budget, £1.4m wage budget. Highest earner is on £68k pw…in the Championship

It doesn't matter, your files should still be there and safe, I've had to do it myself in the past, and the games remain in your Documents folder, if not, then I'm not sure what happened, it shouldn't uninstall your saved games, as they're not involved in the uninstallation process.

Yeah I think I actually misread your post, should have probably looked a bit harder. I'll take a look soon, thanks!

Also
Andre Gray on 17 in 16(6) in the League and 4 in 3 in the cup
It's January.
He was injured for 5 weeks and went 9 games without a goal after coming back from injury.

You nearly bottled that Everton game though.

I'd have scored more but they injured Gray and he had to go off :(
I can barely score without him, I'm such a one man team. :dk:

Just into Feb, outside of the playoffs atm. Between loanees finishing and players contracts running out I'm down 8 first team squad members at the end of the season.
Between those and the reserves contracts running out that's about 43k off the wage bill per week so I should have a bit of room to rebuild at least.

Away to Man Utd for the next round of the cup, no Gray or Pritchard (Basically my two best performers)
Jota off injured after 3mins. My supposed best player.
Roman picks up a knock after 6minutes, down to 50fitness. My only good other attacker.
Man Utd are a bunch of shit thug c*** :(

Both my CB's pick up knocks but I keep it to a 1-1 draw. :bl:

Replay's at my place. Hopefully I'll have a player or two fit by then.

Or, y'know. None of them back fit and both of my defensive minded CM's injured.
This game hates me.
Game before the Man u replay, my two fit CM's come off injured before 40minutes are up.

Gonna have to play 6th choice been sat in the reserves since october because nobody would even take him on a free Diagoura (however its spelt) against Man U, wooo.

Lost 2-1 against them, which considering I was missing 4 key players and 2 of their immediate replacements isn't too bad. Especially with having only played 3 days earlier too.

Having a great injury crisis at the moment. Eight first teamers out injured (four of them for the season). Promoted a 16 year old to the first team to fill a space on the bench. Pressed continue and he got a groin strain.

Finished 6th and won the playoffs, beating Bournemouth in the final.
Andre Gray was 3rd top scorer in the league.
Moses Odubajo got into the team of the year at RB.

Best signing was easily this guy for 325k from Barcelona

Managed to sign a 4.5 star CAM for 225K and just under 4k a week. In the prem when every single other player I go for wants 20k a week.

Lost Jota :( Went for 7M to Bordeuax. I rejected 6m for him from iirc Mallorca? And he started bitching so offered him out for 7M and Bordeux were the only ones in for him.
No one else major left, mostly backups.
Some of my more exciting signings, in addition to the guy above

0b4c1d107675175e763afaa346121ead.png

Had him on loan last season and he did amazingly so was very happy to sign him for relatively cheap.

5094f2e2828c31d793ffbe7c5ad5d086.png

My defence was a pretty big weak point last season, so I splashed out (relatively for Brentford anyway) on Omeruo for 4M. I could get better players money wise but the wages they wanted weren't even close to what I could offer.

11e405e4f8d171621ccf2deb1fb7345e.png

Should help my defence a bit too. Looks a good solid defensive minded CM. Got him for just under one mil.

70e59eb4dd0caae9269673079f10c206.png

The wages are a lot more than I wanted to pay but he only costs 600k. Last season I was absolutely useless anytime Gray was injured so hopefully this guy can do well.

e35446b132e5b87efbb43c6eda8bdc08.png

The "big money" signing. 4.5M (2.5m of that over 2 years) and extremely high wages for me. Very much my best midfielder and should fit my roaming playmaker role very nice. Still has good potential too so if I go down I can get some nice profit I hope.

bf71291404ea19aa456ff68adf87e356.png

Some more help for the defence, got him on a free with a one year deal so should do the job for this season. He's tutoring my new young LB I signed for the future too.

6f1448af6abed5cc2de80f88dae00279.png

Jota's replacement. Younger and costs less. Not as good right now but has nice potential. Some nice merchandising opportunities too being Japanese.

Patric, Wellington Silva (Released from Arsenal) and Jesse Lingard are my other players who aren't youngsters.

Actually I just picked this guy on a free for some more depth in midfield.
4197bfa4b2a49f1b915af81730ecdfa4.png

Most of the wages are probably too high but I got relegation wage lowering clauses on everyone and selling most of them again combined with the money I'm making in the prem (Expected to make 30mil profit) if I get relegated should leave me in an ok situation.

So going into the prem with 10 players(11 if you count Pritchard who was already on loan there) I started this career with at the team after 1 season.

Can't get into this Brighton game for shit.

Mid-November and I think I've drawn 12 of my 17 games or something! I'll see how it is at the end of the season after I've had another transfer window and see if I can start scoring. It's not a tactic understanding thing because that's 'fluid' now.

First transfer was a massive result. 17 year old Spanish CB, I made an offer for him (£675k release clause) offered him a contract but Man City and Man Utd also made offers. He accepted City's but they couldn't complete the deal (weird one!), so I snapped him up in the following couple of days before anyone else could. He'll be worth a few bob in 5 years or so.
