It may not be pretty...but it has character, something that will never be said about your flat pack stadium.
You've tried hard there, quite cute. Ask Frankie Lampard about The Vetch son. Being a product of cling-on London suburbia you're the definition of flat pack. Don't call out a real donny again, you'll get burnt.

The Vetch. If you weren't aware already...you play at the Liberty Stadium. A stadium which looks like every other new stadium being built these day.

I reckon it's a Liverpool fan signed up to make Everton fans look bad. A bit like johnnytodd in fact, only worse.

Jose's calmed down again now but Chelsea are still rubbish. Maybe he knows he's got the job no matter what happens this season. Or maybe he's just realised that nothing he does has any impact at all and he's just going through the motions.

It would be fascinating to hear what he really thinks of his players, because clearly some of them are letting him down and maybe he isn't universally liked in the dressing room.

Then again, it's his job as the manager to motivate his players and get the best out of them, so in the end he's only got himself to blame that he's failed to do that and they've gone from champions to laughing stock.

When you think of what it's taken for some Chelsea managers to get the boot over the last decade, it's quite funny that Mourinho is still there. I'd like to think this is because Abramovich has become more sensible and realised there is a lot to be said for stability and that sticking with a manager through bad times can pay big dividends in the long run. However, I suspect it's more a case of him not wanting to pay out £30m in compensation if he were to sack him.

To be honest, i think it's because there are no other available managers around! Who would they hire?

The prime example of what I talked about above, and the manager they should never have sacked. Carlo Ancelotti. Though whether he'd choose to go back there is another matter. I've no doubt if Mourinho was sacked tomorrow and Ancelotti was in charge by the next game their top 4 chances would be far better.

The best option is clearly Ancelotti, but they've been there and sacked that.

Capello could be a shout; a proven pedigree and may feel he has a point to prove in England after the 2010 debacle. But he's not exactly the long term option Abramaovich seems to be after

Capello is a pretty awful manager, in my opinion.

There are no obvious options to replace Mourinho. If he goes, we'll probably get another Villas-Boas type of an appointment.

I wonder what are the chances that all of Man United, Man City and Chelsea will have a new manager by the start of next season?

And Liverpool too judging by some of the over the top shite I've read from opposition fans since 1755 last night (not just on here I might add).

I think it's likely to be an interim appointment should Abramovich decide to get rid. I really can't really see how he's going to last very much longer - coming up to the half way point now, averaging a point a game and the side doesn't seem capable of scoring goals. It's really dire.

How much damage will this have done to Mourinho's reputation if things don't pick up and he's given the boot? He will obviously always be able to get a job, especially as an impact appointment. But for the last ten years he's generally been thought of as either the best manager in the world or close to it for the majority of people. I can't see that continuing after this, it's been a disastrous four months.

I love seeing Mourinho struggle. I've always said Wenger is the better manager. Remember that Arsene made the top 4 with this lot...

Comparing Wenger to Mourinho is akin to comparing a defender and a striker.

Yeah looking back at my post, it's obvious one should not compare two veteran managers who manage in the same league, in the same country and in the same city.

The point is they're so different in terms of style, attitude and outlook, neither benefit from a direct comparison.

I think if Arsene had that Chelsea squad they'd be planted in the top 2 by now. Mourinho has been pratting about for too long and has missed the starting pistol.

And yet, on the opposite side of that particular coin, I wouldn't say it's unfair to claim that, if Mourinho had been in charge of various Arsenal squads over the last decade, you would have won more than a couple of FA Cups.

I think, if he had our current squad without injuries, in his first season who could win at least the double.

I don't think that's true, though I agree with what you're saying above. We simply didn't have the personnel to match what Jose prefers to do, and has done with great success. I tend to think he wouldn't have bothered being in a position where he had a mid-table net spend, either way.

For starters that's an FA Cup line up....a competition Wenger has only started to take seriously in the past few years, since he's realised he has no chance of winning the league or Champions league.

I really do love Mourinho but he's asking to he sacked with the mistakes he's made so far this season. There's no doubt the board should have backed him in the summer transfer window....that said no team as good as ours was last season should follow that season with relegation form.

How does a manager of his ability not see that playing a false number 9 at home to Bournemouth isn't going to work. It took him until the 8th minute on Saturday, after their goal, to actually go for it. Without sounding like a c***, we're Chelsea Football Club we should be swallowing clubs like Bournemouth up in 10 minutes.

His inability to make changes to squad so obviously tired and down in confidence has been his real problem. Players like Fabregas Matic and Costa deserve to be nowhere near that team right now. A lot of fans I know just want to see some youth players, mainly Loftus Cheek, get a chance....the widespread opinion is that there's no way he could be doing any worse than what's already there.

January will come....as will the panic and Roman will throw +100million at the cause. What a time to be alive.
