Despite his superb trophy count he has shown he can't hack it time and time again when the going gets tough. He isn't wrong however about it being the toughest time in his career. When it went tits up at Real he always had Chelsea to fall back on, where does he go from here if he were to be punted?

Portuguese national team is the obvious answer. Can't wait for him to fuck off myself. I remember being quite excited about him coming back, but I'm bored with him already.

Yeah he seems to have imbalanced the "c***" to "breath of fresh air" ratio.

I love him but hate him at the same time.

One day i want him to go and the next day I love him.....I just can't decide.

He's the best manager in the world...make no mistake. I'm prepared to give him to the end of the season to see if he can get this squad, which is full of talent, playing the way we saw in the first half of last season.

I absolutely love that he winds people up. The same way I love that Costa winds people up.

People who don't like the premier league having characters like Costa/Suarez in the prem are the same people who eat Cheese and Tomato pizzas with no other topping. Proven fact.

Loved his post-match last night. Losing a mind game with Wenger that only he's participating in.

"Eden Hazard has told his Chelsea & Belgium team-mates that he wants to leave Chelsea at the end of the season"

The revolt has begun.

WATCH JOSE MOURINHO APPEAR TO LOSE HIS COOL AND SHOVE A 14-YEAR-OLD FAN
"Jose Mourinho reportedly shoved a young fan who was filming the Chelsea manager on his phone as he walked past him in the street."

Who the hell is this young fan to make videos of Mourinho ?!?! Mourinho is God... he can't be filmed.

Source? A french newspaper.

It was only last week his dad and Eden were saying how happy they were at Chelsea.

IF he did leave we'd be getting close to a record transfer fee....and I'd expect us go go after another elite player....Bale being my preference.

Jose is still the best manager going, Chelsea fans want him to leave? More plastic than I thought.

You could probably get him with a careless whisper.

He's a great manager no question. His style of football is starting to really bug me. I understand and respect he likes his sides solid at the back but when you're benching players as good as Hazard cos he needs to learn to defend and you're playing Ivanovic because without him there wouldn't be enough tall players in the side...you have to question whether he's right for the job.

He'll win us more trophies than any other manager will....at the end of the day that's what really counts.

If that's what really counts then you wouldn't want him out. He's a disaster for your club in the long term. You have enough problems with your club culture to have to deal with a cringe-machine like him as well. He doesn't make the league more interesting, great football is interesting, soap operas are for old ladies.

He'll be gone. He is cracking under the pressure.

Still can't believe how wrong he was about De Bruyne. Great manager obviously but he only thinks about the short-term, no forward thinking whatsoever. I'll be surprised if he lasts the whole season.

I think we're seeing why he's not stayed anywhere for more than 3 years. Not necessarily due to issues from a managerial perspective (although I don't think team transitions like Chelsea are currently going through are his strong point), but because his arrogant attitude is so caustic, so abrasive, it poisons any good feelings towards him in a short space of time. And I include the possibility of players being included in that too. It's only bearable to the fans of his own clubs when the results are going right.

I do wonder if he can turn it around at Chelsea and prove he's more than an impact manager, albeit a very successful one. But until he nurtures a team and sees it through at least one successful transition (which we have seen Ferguson and Wenger do multiple times) he will never be anything other than that for me. I didn't think so at the time, but United definitely made the correct long term decision by not going with him after Fergurson retired. Unfortunately for them, they made a much worse one by going with Moyes instead but that's a different subject covered to death already.

Does he work hard enough defensively for Mourinho? Wasn't that part of the reason that he allowed Mata to move?

If you managed to get £70m (ish) for Hazard, I'm sure he'd be able to bring in a couple of Mourinho-type players with the money he recoups.
