Was up the other end but I thought he'd gone right through him, so no complaints.

Freeze framed it and it looks like Traore keeps his right foot on the floor, whilst Gomis is looking for contact and throws himself over. The way he went down would have been enough to stop me giving it, even if there was slight contact.

Not actually checked out the footage, will give it another look.

Highlights from Tuesday. Soft pen imo.

Yeah sorry Chris, but your guy is too eager to get to the ball and rushes in taking the Sutton player's legs. I have to comment on how ridiculous the slow motion cheering sounds also, it's like an agreement taking place in the House of Commons.

Think that shows clear contact as he takes his leg.

The slow motion of Sutton fans cheering Bailey's goal is beautifully demonic

But their guy is waiting to make contact, he initiates it as Traore, who did go in a bit over eager, tries to pull out. For me it's soft, even though to the letter of the law you can see why the ref might give it. Agree about the crowd noise, would edit out the sound during slow mo's personally.

The ref couldn't wait to give that. A very authoritative walk after he'd blown the whistle.

He was like that all night, virtually had his whistle in his mouth every time we went near the ball. Very poor.

It's no more soft than the foul that led to your goal in that they were both correct decisions. Stop your whining and blaming the red, you got the maximum of what you deserved on Tuesday, and your delusional bleating is becoming increasingly pathetic

What the one where your player lunges in at Chemlal and clearly takes him out? Yep, very similar.

He got quite a few whacks off your mob, but good on him he kept going. Good introduction to English football, play the filthy bastards early when the weathers nice and the pitches are good, so he'll be toughened up in winter when the pitches get shitter.

And I've never said you didn't deserve the draw.

He stood there waiting for the challenge. Just like Gomis did. In that he didn't, neither man did, they were both poor challenges. As I said in the message you're replying to. But then basic comprehension doesn't seem to be your thing.

Good introduction for us as well playing a bunch of dirty, fouling, play-acting, cheating, whingers. Gets us ready for the top teams in the league, and sterner tests to follow.

It's one of those where the attacker knows the challenge is coming and makes sure he gets caught, I don't like it but it's clever, Margetts did the same for Lincoln vs Woking last week.

Is this the second thread that's now turned into the great FGR v Sutton foul debate?

Alabi's red card looks slightly harsh, I think he's allowed to challenge for that ball. Having said that, Richards should have definitely got a second yellow card and got away with one and it looked like a penalty to me with Hudson leaving out a lazy leg.

Agree with all of that. Richards was subbed not long after, we realised that we were fortunate to still have him on the pitch. I didn't have much sympathy for Greenhalgh getting booked for diving though, he’d been strutting around acting like a tit all afternoon and the highlights don’t show him kicking Durrell on the floor. He probably should have walked himself long before scored. Hudson was still lucky to get away with it mind you.

Bad day at the office.

He wasn't very good anyway! I wish the ref had just played on and let us score, good for you guys though if you're playing them next.

Bit surprised at the decision in the York match there. Yeah the forward is looking for the contact but I still think it's a pen, keeper is absolutely nowhere near getting the ball. Saying that, why take the chance of the ref not giving it, just go round the keeper normally and score a goal for god's sake.

Wow chill out my friend! All he said was it was a soft penalty, which is agreeable!

For what it's worth, I think a draw was a fair result on Tuesday, no team did enough. If you don't consider FGR one of the top teams, then you are a little bit silly. You only need to look at us the past few seasons finishing 5th and 2nd. Pretty hard to argue against that.

For what it's worth, and those around me, we all said how Sutton were pretty poor, and will most probably face a relagation scrap.

So please, stop whinging!
