Preston local paper and the Irish sun are reporting that Plymouth, Portsmouth, Wigan, Oldham, Fleetwood and Atletico de Kolkata (me neither, apparently it's Robbie Keanes club) are all pursuing Eoin Doyle for a loan move

By pursuing, I think it means they're one of the clubs we've desperately rang to try and get rid of the fucker.

Looks like lazy journalism to me. Our interest ended when Cook upped sticks to Wigan, I understand. I'd be very surprised if we're looking to bring in a striker.

Apparently trying to get Matty Kennedy on loan from cardiff. Roasted us in the league cup game this season. Looked like he did well at Plymouth last season on loan. Also rumours about Alex Bruce

If the latter happened then it may mean that either Burgess or Whatmough (there are Millwall rumours) are moving out?

We've only really got one striker at the moment so I think it could be a good addition for us

He was ok here in league 2, a bit hit and miss I'd say he looked good in some games but others he was just anonymous/missing/disinterested, probably progressing as a player all the time though and I think our fans would have him back but I'd assume a striker is probably more of a priority for us

Oliver Hawkins has signed for Portsmouth from us on a 3 year deal.

If he gets his act together and has good service, he'll be a good signing. If he plays like he has since February where he's scored just 1 goal for us, he'll be a dud.

Don't expect him to run in behind Pompey fans. He's a back to goal striker although good in the box if, as I said, you get the service right to him.

Big money for a non-league player with not a huge amount of goals. We've got some very good strikers, so not sure why we've wasted money on him..

Being honest, I really don't see him doing it in League 1. I predict he'll be gone from you this time next year.

It's strange.. we're kicking out Michael Smith, trying to give him away, to replace him with the exact same type of player?!

I'd take Matty Kennedy back here. The lad is raw but has a lot of talent and linked up well with Carey.

We definitely aren't in the market for another winger though I'd imagine. Pompey would be a good move for all concerned there tbh.

Well, I guess we'll have to back Kenny Jackett's judgement on this one. There were a few Championship teams looking at Hawkins back in January. I'm guessing his head got turned then.

It looks to me like Kenny is going to his preferred 4-4-2 formation after dabbling with the 4-2-3-1 that we played under Cook. Won't be surprised to see Hawkins/Pitman combination up front very soon with two energetic central midfielders and a couple of pacy wide men (Lowe? Kennedy?)

Midfielder Stuart O'Keefe from Cardiff is apparently close? Don't know if this would be permanent or on loan. Matty Kennedy is classified as an outside possibility. Michael Smith is close to following Carl Baker and Tom Davies out the door.

Busiest deadline day we've had since the days of 'Arry I reckon.

The most unsurprising transfer of the day has been confirmed with Marvin Johnson having gone to Middlesbrough.

Hawkins is a bit of an odd one, but we can only trust KJ's judgement there. Would happily have O'Keefe and Kennedy, though no LB would leave me a tad concerned, as much as I like Haunstrup

Weirdly there's been almost no chat about a LB. Maybe Donohue's going there after all? Smith out and one more in will have me happy. Three fringe players out and hopefully three (maybe not Hawkins) first teamers in!

Kennedy is someone I have mixed feelings about. He scored a couple of worldies, and for a winger his tracking back so the left back did not get exposed was sound. He was intelligent rather than blisteringly quick. He did, like most wingers, become anonymous in some games, and after a while defenders realised he would always come in and not go for the byline. But a great servant and had a good understanding with Carey. Suspect he'll do a job for Pompey.

We've signed a goalie, Lukas Raeder, ex-Bayern recently been on trial with Southampton. Sounds alright (can't be any worse than what we've got), apparently Newcastle and Dortmund were looking at him according to the papers, but obvs wanted to join a big team.
Fredrik Ulvestad also linked by someone on our board, Burnley midfielder I think was at Charlton last season.

No doubt the mighty Doyle will just be to good to keep him out of the team, it's almost as if Stuart has favourites. Same applies with Ulvestad and Law.

We've rejected a couple of bids for Bodin today. Rumoured to be around £500,000. I expect one was from that sneaky twat Warnock.
Hold on Rovers ffs.

Emmanuel Onariase 20 year old centre back signed on a 2 year deal from Brentford.
6ft 3" tall made 24 appearances on loan at Cheltenham last season.
Any views on the lad?

Wells goes to Burnley, giving us £500k.

Sheff Utd are perusing Devante Cole - we have a sell-on there - and I'm pretty sure we have a sell on clause with any future James Hanson deals.

Pleasing end to the window so far.

Nothing going on with us today, although Whitney still wants an attacking player. Either be on a free or on loan.

In other news, we have Stourbridge's top goalscorer Jordan Archer on trial.

Top scorer in the evo stick premier apparently.

We've signed Alex Mowatt on loan from Barnsley for the season. No clue what he is like other than he is a midfielder.
