Can't wait for the official figure to be released and Firthy found to be way out in his exaggerations again.

City have good local support but owt outside of 50 miles and it is bang average.

They'll take around 2.5k which is pretty good imo but no doubt firthy will claim the figure is wrong and the end was full.

They been on sale for 10 days? So they were released two weeks prior to the match then, which is the general norm for most clubs. How early do you need tickets to be released?

It was pretty late. The tickets for Bristol Rovers game on 11th Feb went on sale before the Oldham tickets. Ironic as we won't take many there. City requested them before Christmas as well.

Not to say Firthy doesn't talk shite though.

Tickets go on sale on Monday. Only £20 - only 1290 tickets too for Bradford. Am guessing this is just the initial allocation?

I think you can get about 3500 at ours with the Bradford End and the end two blocks of the Midland Road. Firthy will know for sure.:shut:

Cheers for that, not sure how it will pan out as we have Sheff Utd the week before you guys away, so am guessing if some lads can't do both, they'll choose the blades, kind of depends on results etc as usual

It would make sense to put the season tickets from behind the goal in there and give you the lost. There's only a couple of hundred at most. What does your ticket say?

Been given behind the goal first according to my ticket. Motor point stand? / east stand

Motorpoint is behind the goal. It's a good view but last time I went in there for a home game the stewards were far too keen on sitting down. Might be different when there's more than 30 people in there though.

Sitting down at football is wrong. Sitting down at an away game you should be thrown out. I bet there wasn't blokes moaning about there knees in the 60s and 70s. :2thumb::2thumb:

Oh good, the old sitting/standing debate again. Almost as exciting as the Bradford away support debate.

Almost.

Not a debate just a bit of a joke. People do as they please at football sit or stand. The one thing that is 100% true though is you will never ever get an atmosphere from a stand full of people sat down. That is a fact

Pretty sure you could. However, it's a pointless debate to have, so that's the last I'll say on it!

Carry on chaps.

2 weeks before the game would be sufficient enough time had we had a sufficient allocation of tickets.

If your allocated 1,000 tickets on the 13/01/16 - then sold out on the 17/01/16 - you'd expect the second batch to arrive in quick succession.

No, they were sent in the afternoon 2 days later. 2nd batch received on the 19/01/16.
So the addition 1,000 were sold as of yesterday (24/01/16). The third allocation arrived the next morning, somewhat quicker than the previous two allocations.

So although the initial allocation was sent on the 13/01/16, they've only been on sale 8 days/5 working days.

2,300 sold!

Fair enough.

Like muzzle has said, we have you and Sheff Utd in the space of 7 days. I'd still hope we'd sell out the 2,800 (or whatever it is) allocation mind you.

What's the allocation at Sheff Utd, Blademan?

The max away allocation could be anything, no one knows.

The Bramall Lane stand (away end) has a very flexible seating arrangement and away allocation varies greatly based on away demand, home demand and believe it or not how the SY Police feel about whether they want to limit away fans. They are well known for closing off large sections of seats to seperate home supporters from away supporters, the closing off seats fiasco is even worse at Hillsboro. They must think it's Hooligan Central down there.

At present we start by giving away fans the upper tier, which has a fantastic view. It has a offical capacity of 2,700 however the SY Police are likely to net off about 700 seats restricting it to 2,000.

Then for any over flow we also usually give the away fans the lower tier which has an official capacity of 2,990 but again the SY Police are likely to put netting over about 500 seats restricting capacity to 2,500.

So we normally allow a max of about 4,500 to away fans but if there's massive demand from home fans we may offer less. For example in the PL we only gave away fans all the 2,990 seats in the bottom tier with no seats netted off. Obviously the SY Police don't think hooligans exist in the PL.

SU have recently announced that they are allowing home fans to use the bottom tier on a trial basis for the next 3 home matches starting last week, so I've no idea whether home or away fans will be in the bottom tier for the Bolton match.

Last season the biggest away following at Bramall Lane was 3,886 when we played Bradford City. They sold out the top tier and half the bottom tier.
