I can only apologise for anything said from our fans, although where I was stood (middle of popside), I didn’t hear anything that seems to be hinted at here and overall the atmosphere was cracking from where I was stood.

Every team has their pool of idiots, hopefully if anything was said that they get the punishment they deserve.
The idiot minority of our fans were no better

Torquay deserved the win, absolutely no arguments there, but the disgusting, despicable chant from their fans was abhorrent and I hope they ban every single one of them

Thats pretty shocking. I'm glad we threw coffee on them.

Lewis Kinsella celebrating the ‘winner’ in front of the Woking fans after 86 minutes.

Then he concedes a 94th penalty

What a monumental c*** he is.

I think we are setting up today in a 5-5-0 formation
Unsurprising tactic but we’re on a roll at home since Challinor arrived and that’s 19 goals scored in the last four home games. Simon Rusk should never work in football again.

Wasn’t there today as took the double pay at work but apparently we finally saw Sarcevic at his best and he was a cut above - shame he picked up a yellow and will miss the really tough game away to a fresh Solihull on Tuesday. Rydal who’s been a revelation since Challinor’s arrival also went off injured so that’s a blow.

We’ve conceded 12 goals in all comps since we stole Dave from Hartlepool and four are official own goals with another two against Bolton that were OG’s in all but name. If we can clear that up we’ll start to keep clean sheets all being well.

Don't know if Alty had a few out or whatever because they didn't seem to have a striker in their team but we smashed them to be honest, played some brilliant football and 5-1 didn't flatter us one bit.

We need to start some consistency though, we don't really have it at the moment which could be exposed on the 3rd of Jan and it'll be a different game. If you watched that today you wouldn't see a way Altrincham could get at us or keep us out tbh. But not the way it'll work.

3 players suspended for the return match next week is a massive blow. Maybe 3 on the bench

We have a fuck up in us big time, we've got a slightly worrying habit of the other team scoring whenever they get a half a chance. Luckily today we just pressed the fuck out of them and played some brilliant passing football so they barely any of the ball. We do need to tidy up the fuck ups though, cost us down at Torquay the other week.

Keep going Southend.

Although Bromley will almost certainly get their usual 94th minute winner.

Another defeat, another og from a near post corner & weak defending a counterattack, moments after we ought to have scored
D&R looked nothing special, not a play off team

Aye. It’s the defensive players we need to look to strengthen if and when Challinor wants to add.

Kitching is perfect when we have the ball as a left sided CB but I don’t trust him defensively and I feel similar about Keane. Palmer is immense when it comes to defending the box but he’s not up to this level in terms playing out from the back and dealing with pace and trickery.

Sooner or later we will need to find ourselves a successor to Hinchliffe in goal. And as surprisingly good as the Collar/Croasdale pairing have been since Challinor took over I still want us to add a more athletic and mobile DM into the mix.

Ross was as bad - celebrating like you'd won the world cup when all you achieved was scraping a draw against 10 men (I guess it was better than you normally get at the Rec)

I actually thought a draw was a fair result - both penalties looked fouls to me although I actually thought Kinsella was just outside the box so we may have got a little lucky.

Was a long way from the red card but others nearer to the incident think it was a bad decision so I need to see it again

We have 2 bad strikers, both of whom sent on loan this week, hence the rather outre set up.

I didn't go today as I have PTSD from my four previous visits to Edgeley Park, but it sounds as bad as anything we've served up in a while. Parkinson's halo is starting to slip for the first time in 4.5 years

Bromley always do this. Get pegged back or even fall behind but ALWAYS get a late winner.

really hope you can buck the trend, tho
We scored a 95th minute own goal after bartering them last time they were on BT to hand them a point.

Whilst County were brilliant in places - Sarcevic, Madden and Croasdale in particular were a class above - your lads were dreadful and contributed to the scoreline as much as we did.

Don't judge your man Parkinson too harshly on today, though; we've just got that hoodoo over Alty.

That said, the decision to play without any strikers shortly after sending two out on loan is baffling. Even a rubbish forward would have kept a high line and given you a bit more breathing room.

Your number 18 centre half really did look a terrible player. Don't know if he's usually any good?

I'm really tentative to start digging you lot out and over egging our lads, we all know it could be a much different game in a weeks time.

If you watched today's game, you think you'd never beat us if we played every day all year but that's not football.

Player celebrates last minute equaliser shock horror.

yep - would like to see the penalties again. Didn’t see the red card either. For some reason we decided to play worse after you went down to 10 men.

Whilst I appreciate that the Notts fans will be (rightly) upset about the late call off there is only one man to blame today and that is the ref. I went into the ground (around 2.10) and the pitch looked perfectly playable and the other Lynn fans in the ground were equally surprised at the call off. There had been an earlier inspection but seemed the ref was keen to get home early, if this is now the standard then we will struggle to get our home games in this season. it was wet but nowhere near unplayable and many games played in previous years in much worse conditions which just adds to the frustration felt by all (home and away) today.

I obviously didn’t make it far enough to see the pitch close up, but the consensus from our side, both media and the manager, is that it wasn’t close to being playable. I think the frustration is that we were in Lynn from about midday and driving up for a good couple of hours before that, and the rain wasn’t bad enough to appreciably change the condition of the pitch, just ongoing heavy drizzle. If it wasn’t playable at 2pm, it would’ve have been at 10am.

Good result for us today with Southend getting a point away at Bromley.

Halifax at home now on the 28th - hopefully our covid suffering players are recovered and able to play.

Digie is NLN standard at best, and tbf he is very much a second string in that position.

I don't see us turning any tables next week, in fact I don't think we ever will beat you.
