Would take a point. I dare say I think a healthy number of Tranmere fans would also accept this.
After last season when we struggled to beat an Imps side playing with ten men for about an hour, yes. Not to mention being outclassed by Cowley's Braintree side at home last season. At least you've not signed Akinola yet.

Rovers have played poorly for the last 3 games. After playing an untried and quite adventurous formation in the Aldershot game, can see us reverting to a more defensive line-up here. Assuming that the fitness issue with Rhead is just smoke and mirrors and he'll be up for a battle of the giants against McNulty.

While it goes against my better nature, I'd be quite happy for Dover to kick lumps out of Forest Green...

It's a bit niggly in the top echelon of non-league, no?

They wont, they'll play a proper fair, sporting game. They aren't dirty bastards like yourselves.

Glad I got rid of BT sport now...;)
Take a draw all day long at Prenton Park, should be a good crowd and a cracking atmosphere.
Our local rag reckon between 500-1000 could go but I reckon 500 tops anything over will be very good.

Would be nice to beat Chester on Saturday purely because I still have mental scars from the away game in March. That said, with 4 wins out of 4 at home we're due a draw or a defeat at the weekend.

Probably going to be our first sub-4k attendance of the season, and that'll continue to slide if performances don't pick up rapidly.

Sutton probably fancying their chances if they are as physical as from what I have read on previous match threads, we struggled with that against Dover on the opening day and were fortunate to draw 0-0.

Need to take NFU seriously or we'll be turned over I reckon. Trust in Saunders to not underestimate them though, so I'm predicting a comfortable win.

They're not physical but if your players go in for the ball in way shape or form their players go down very easily and his team mates will surround the ref wanting a minimum free kick and hopefully a card too.

This is exactly the sort of game the Cowley's will thrive on. Both Danny and Nicky will have done a great deal of homework on Tranmere and if there's anyone they can tactically outwit, it's Gary Brabin.

Saying all that, I'd be more than happy with a draw.

A banana could tactically outwit Gary Brabin. If we beat you it'll be because of our strength on the pitch rather than the egghead in dugout!

Weather forecast for our game is vile tomorrow, six hours heavy rain leading up to kick-off. I was at the ground today preparing for the game and we don't envisage any problems, I will be in from 11 tomorrow and will post regular updates if shit does get real. Any travelling Chester fans want to PM me a number, I'll be happy to send text updates if they are concerned.

Ta slaphead, will bear that in mind.

Should be fine I reckon, typical though as could go the races here in Chester (forecast bone dry weather) but instead choose to travel and see a likely defeat in in the pouring rain, I'm too loyal!!

I see Sutton fans are complaining on their site about the price of our tickets. Bit rich given they only charge a couple of quid less at their place which is basically a school field.

Off to the iron today, be interesting to see wot heed team turns up, early season team superb, or the last 4 games not so superb, big miss Ryan bowman going to Motherwell, 20 goals a season forwards don't come along that often for us that's for sure, first time I went to caressing road ,I could not find the ground and ended up knocking on the door of this old dear for directions, who said she hated Braintree and had cursed them for all eternity,!! I kid you not , however obviously didn't work as they tonked us 3,1 reckon she must have cursed the drainage system instead happy days indeed

I'm predicting a whopping great win in front of another baying Shay Stadium. Get relegated, gain 400 fans. That's the mystery and greatness of the REAL football clubs. FGR would be eating their heart out if they had one. Or a soul. I guess the Beatles called it right- Money Can't Buy You Love.:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£

£5 less (£15) which is 25% cheaper than Wrexham.

BTW I believe £15 is the league minimum (and that in itself is expensive). To put it into context I paid £20 to watch Wales on Monday night, and now the same price for non-league Football
