Definitely looking like we’re gone. Conceding batches of goals to the average sides (away particularly) is a bad bad sign. Unless we start smashing it at home it’s already a long way back from here. Hard to see us getting points away with these performances. No belief, soft goals galore and 2 or 3 not good enough and our captain out until the New Year.

We were very loyal and gave contracts to three players in their mix 30's past their best. Williams likes a small squad to work with which is fine until injuries kick in, which they have and we have no youth team players knocking on the door of the first team.
We also have a physically small side so unless we're right on our game we lose out in scrappy exchanges to bigger players in those middle of the park head tennis bouts.
As I keep saying, we just need to cling onto top seven until the window opens and hope the recruitment team being their A game and the owners spend a few quid.
We got tonked today and looked weak but we're not a million miles away from the standard but we will need new personnel as there's not enough at the club as it stands.
Not braying or being daft but why the fook did the bookies think nutts or wrexhum were gonna piss this league its clearly way above non league

Viking Magpie will be along soon to pretend that he isn’t bothered at all. :bg:

Oh I am bothered we've just dropped down from 1st to 2nd after losing heavily to the leagues only unbeaten side

Still gotta look on the bright side , could be a lot worse could be 18th basically averaging a point a game :ohy:

no idea or not.

As i said before the game, your best chance of beating us would’ve been to play defensive and pack out the midfield, i said if you game play passing football against us theyd only be one winner. I’m surprised you were so expansive against us.

You quite literally played into our hands.
We haven't the players to pack out the middle or strong enough defenders to keep a clean sheet.
Sometimes when not on top you have to be resolute and nick a game 1-0. If we don't gift you the first we may get to half time winning, get in the changing room, gather ourselves and go again.
We've now conceded 5, 5,4 and only kept two clean sheets. You just can't do well conceding like that consistently.

Yeah agree, I said moments ago we lost heavily. Same thing.

More importantly I fear we have also fallen to 2nd in the away followings table.

Double disaster
But at least you’re not bothered about it mate.

We’ve gained a grand total of 11 points from the last 72 available.

There is nothing to us.

Ask the bookies, I had us down for eleventh on the 1 to 24 predictions. Said we'd score enough but concede too many and that's how it's turning out.

Very sloppy first half. Much better in the 2nd.
Salford took the chances they made 1stvhalf to he fair, missed 1 decent chance for 3-1 in the 3nd but we dominated most of the 2nd half in terms of chances made. Really shouldnof scored 4 or 5 just in the 2nd half.

We won't get anywhere near winning the league, Stockport to win in comfortably but to be only 3 off top without playing well yet bar maybe the Grimsby game I'm happy so far.

Did the bookies have Notts down as pissing the league at the start of the season? What were the odds? I thought it was Wrexham clear favourites and then there was a small group including Notts in the betting.

L2 is well above non-league although I've just checked and we are currently 2nd so...

I predicted 6th, which would be a great effort in our first season back.

I thought we should be aiming for playoffs. Top three would be an unbelievable position in our first season back. I'm still of the opinion that 4-7 is achievable.

2nd and 5th after 13 games is pretty good I'd say. We both concede too many goals but otherwise have had good starts. Only Stockport have battered us for all the goals we've conceded- and they were my favourites. Mansfield are a good side so again, no shame there today for you lot. These results happen.

We will strengthen in January too.

Nah. Was a low quality game I thought. Think 0-0 was probably fair.
It wasn't a classic! Bradford look like a strong and experienced league 2 side who are hard to break down, or at least were too hard for us to break down today. We looked very flat and predictable and missed the pace and creativity of Ali Al-Hamadi.
I don't think the ref had a great game, seemed to piss off both sets of fans somehow. Good away performance from Bradford, we need to come up with a way of playing when Ali is away on international duty.

We were second favourites behind Wrexham. How We were shorter odds than Stockport, Stags and Gillingham I'll never know.

Apart from MK Dons I think all the expected promotion candidates are already up there. The league is so tight though. Check again in 10 matches time I would say.

Comfortable win for Crewe against a Rovers team who ended up with 9 men. Until we change how we line up away aren’t going to get anything out of games like today. Total silence from Mark Palios about the management situation too.

Crewe outfield looked a pretty decent outfit, though they gave us a few chances. Do understand where some of their fans are coming from regarding the keeper though, weak link for me.

If we are top 6 in 10 games time I'll be happy. I always view the start to the season as the first 10 leagues and regardless of the strength of opposition we have started very very well.

If you want to laugh, here is Luke McGee's sending off for Tranmere.

Started the game really well, Tracey caused Wood all sorts of problems. Got a deserved goal on 11 minutes, Demetriou is a monster. Continued to play well for the next 10-15 minutes before allowing a very poor Tranmere back into it. Davies had to make a decent save in the first half.

2nd half we started well and had Tranmere kept 11 men on, it might have been easier for us bizarrely. But McGee gets sent off, we get the 2nd immediately after that and just went into cruise control, which allowed Tranmere to come back into it again. They hit the bar twice and probably deserved a goal.

Tranmere then let their frustrations get the better of them and left the foot in a few times late on. Which is why Davies got sent off, what a silly boy. 2-0 down, you're on a yellow, 2 minutes to go and you're already down to 10. Don't go flying into a challenge outside the opposition penalty area. Brainless from the so called captain.

Scruffy performance, but all in all a comfy win.

I don't know what minute that's in, if it's the last ten then it's a great sacrifice
