2 deflected goals but we deserved the win overall. Lee popping up to save us again.

Mullin looked about 2% match fitness but Fletcher looked good.

The walking wounded wrought out a win at Wimbledon

Really hard-fought stuff, massive three points.

could be worse - if there had been a decent ref at Stockport v Barrow and Knoyle had been sent off after 20 mins, you could be joint bottom now...

Got what we deserved today., nothing. We were awful.against stockport. Stretched our squad too far. This is not to say stockport were.good. First half they were shocking. However they.deserved.to win. We need players.back. maybe we are in a false.position. poor today from us

Couldn't believe it when Derbyshire came on against us for you in the cup game. Thought he'd retire years ago. Was immense for us in a short loan spell, must of been about 16-17 years ago now

It's clear Derbyshire should now retire. He got lucky with one last contract from us from his old pal Mark Hughes. I would pay him off now

Happily would’ve taken that before. Slightly annoying not to win as we’ve basically dominated it for most of the 90 minutes but more evidence that we’re going to be right up there I think.

Draw a fair result. Horrific first half for us and a better team than Grimsby would've put three or four past us.

Second half was totally different, helped by Grimsby bizarrely parking the bus but also by the fact that we actually brought on some attackers who could move.

Hurst is as negative as Hughes. I would be very annoyed if I was a Mariner fan this afternoon. We were there for the taking, but like Hughes does, sat back and tried to defend a goal lead, which, despite us having only one shot on target, they were unable to do.

2 sets of magnificent supporters deserve far better than that

I had Forest Green down to be relegated this season and that 90 minutes has only increased my confidence that they'll be one of the sides in a relegation battle in the coming months. What a rudderless, disorganised mess they actually were. The fact they scored is very flattering to them because their end product was lacking severely.

We outplayed them in that second half. Men against boys at times. All three of our forwards on the scoresheet very encouraging and a mix of excellent goals too. Long's was a great assist from the FGR defender, CBR with an excellent header from a set piece for the second and a brilliantly drilled finish for the third but the build up play for Nev's goal was sublime. I was hoping he'd bag when he come on and he duly delivered. And yep, I'm giving him that goal.

If we actually played well in first halves we'd be a force. However, we were excellent today and made it look easy. I think the football we played in that second half was so brilliant and composed and credit goes to Lee Bell for getting the statement convincing win away from home that he's needed for so long. If we can get a few more of those, we'll be at the right end of the table this season.

Horseman will be gone by Christmas if that performance is the norm for FGR. One home win in 2023 and it's evident to see why. No gameplan, no fight and easily outclassed. The worst side I've seen us play since Doncaster last season.

What about Swindon? They can't carry on with that defence.

Relatively easy stroll for mansfield.

Accrington will have been stung with a 3-1 loss at county last week and will have wanted to have came out strong, as it was they didn’t deserve 0 as mansfield just absolutely tore them to pieces at will, easily the worst side i’ve seen this season.

9 games unbeaten this season, crack on.

It's actually the first time I think Horseman's got it wrong and we've put in some tidy performances, albeit mostly away. Don't think he was helped by the really poor showing in midfield but then when he had the chance to change it he only made it worse. You were really crisp second half too, so probably meant whatever he was trying never got started anyway. I still reckon we'll be fine in mid-table, especially as a few good players due back in soon.

Strange game that, thought we were really good first half but didn’t really look like scoring and then we put together a real good move to take the lead.
Then at halftime the talk was - let’s hope Hurst learns his lesson from last year and doesn’t just sit back on it and actually go for the kill because I thought that Bradford team were absolutely there for the taking.
Soon as the second half started though it was obvious what the plan was and for 10 mins I was convinced Bradford were gonna equalise with corner after corner but then once we stemmed that I actually felt really comfortable for the rest of the game at 1-0, the only times I got worried was when Bradfords 23 got the ball I thought he was excellent especially second half.
Obviously gutting to concede so late but it looked a great finish from where I was and given the second half performance from us a draw is a fair result.
Despite that I had another brilliant day at Bradford for the second year running despite the results, turning into one of my favourite away days this.
Game rating 3/10
Atmosphere and overall day rating 9/10

Fuck the result or the performance, all we really want to know is was the vroom vroom car there?

Aye it was there. Only time I want to see it again is if it's carrying Hughes out of the stadium.

Highlight of the day was Brad Halliday giving his training t-shirt to my nephew. Lovely stuff.

I switched it on and there must have been about six offside goals in five minutes. The football you're playing is the football I want to see at VP, but no chance with Mark Hughes.

I'm not 100% sure it's sustainable. It's like Flynn has permanent got the attacking set up as 'all out attack' permanently. I think given the nature of how porous we are at the back versus how good we are going forward Flynn's decided to go with it. It will be interesting when one of the more fancied sides come to the CG, say Mansfield for example, if we continue to play quite as advanced and open.

It has to be said its very very entertaining and at times we play some fantastic stuff. Not good for anyone with heart issues however!

Number 23 is Bobby Pointon. Bradford lad and that was his first ever start for the club. Looks a real prospect to me.

I think we're a great away day. Glad you enjoyed it once again.

Tranmere were pretty awful, if we had brought our shooting boots along we ought to have had five or six quite comfortably really. Poor really that we left it so late to put the game to bed, as I was fully expecting a 1-1 draw for most of that.

Honestly stag, you couldn't make it up.
Proper toxic in the Rainham End second half with fans almost coming to blows between the Harris in and Harris out mobs.
Fucking mongs.

Perhaps not sustainable but who cares. I'd rather be winning 5-4 then 1-0, but I like to be entertained. Happy that Jake Young won't be able to play when we play you in October!

That's how I viewed today's game and result too.

Possession football was the order of the day today and we had lots of it.

Could have, should have but good away point.

At one point in the second half I’d just said to my lad how dangerous he looked and with that he cut outside, and then fired one about 40 yards wide that nearly hit the corner flag.

I agree he looks a great prospect your best player today by an absolute mile.

That was the most Bradford City thing I've ever seen. He's got really good intelligence for a young lad. Give it a another few months and Hughes will have coached all the good stuff out of him.

Absolutely fantastic result for the injury ravaged Stags, got to be result of the day. Thought Stanley were very good last week. Coley won't be happy but likely to moan less in his post match interview this time.

Bloody Accrington only thing stopping my BTTS treble

Started watching the Swindon vs Sutton game. Swindon look proper glass cannon.
What entertainment though! Lethal going forward, dodgy as hell at the back. Take out the Donny 0-0 and we’ve had 31 goals in our 5 games. Probably can’t last playing like that, but for the moment, it’s a brilliant watch.
