Two more former Nuneaton players have signed for Solihull - Gareth Dean and former Alfreton player Connor Franklin

Our Chairman said at yesterdays fans forum that we have agreed terms with 4 players but couldnt announce any signings until after the AGM?!

I am presuming we are waiting till the situation with Torquay is resolved one way or the other

We had Adi the season before last and was never fit so fair play to him, big opportunity for him.

Didn't look anywhere near L2 quality, but who knows.

Never thought I'd see the day he moved - he's Mr. Boston.

Think he was injured a bit last season and fell down the pecking order as a result. Cracking signing for Trinity, though. Made some good signings so far.

That's a super signing for Trinity. Safe mid-table for them next season I reckon.

Boston will be back up there no doubt.

Why don't we take a chance on some of these players?

We have signed Glenn Rule for an undisclosed fee from Airbus. Tough tackling midfielder who I'm guessing will be partnering Karl Ledsham in central midfield.

Aye I put that in the transfer rumours thread. Makes perfect sense to have a younger guy with pace alongside O'Hanlon.

Akwasi Asante was seen as a future start at Blues a few years ago, but injuries have held hi, back, if we can get him fully fit and back on form he could be a real handful. Andy Brown is also a proven non league goals over, but Omar was out of this world last season and it will be tough for Asante and Brown to fill his boots.

You are back in the Confernece North, how do you see yourself doing?
I will definitely be going to your ground next season, when we play you.

Yes I think Andy Brown is an astute signing for Conf North.

Regarding us well where do I start

In a weird way glad to be back! Although coming so close to safety and having in our hands and still failing still hurts. The long journeys get on you after a bit in the Premier.
Not a clue what to expect from us. We only have a handful of players signed on (Daniel Bradley, Niall Heaton, Joe Ironside, John Johnston and Joe Leesley, Jordan Keane and Andi Thanoj have been re-engaged. and as yet have not announced a single signing yet. Been told we have 8 or 9 signings lined up though and we are announced one per day starting tomorrow.

Id be happy with a Top half finish with a play-off challenge. Anything else is a bonus IMO. But without a doubt we have a managed proven at this level and also extremely effective at putting a squad together better than the sum of its parts.

Excited to see who we have signed though. I hope and pray its better than the utter dross we signed last summer

Look forward to visiting some new grounds and some old favourites.
Hope we have a better time of it against you guys that last seasons friendly. That really was an eye opener at how shite and unprepared we were i.e 7 consecutive defeats to start which ultimately cost us in the end together with a truly shocking second half v Welling.

Finally we announce our first Signing. Young 22 year old left back Ryan Wilson (Son of former manager Kevin) from Ilkeston FC. We must have offered a fair bit to tempt him to not follow his dad to Nuneaton!

How would you know? He hasnt palyed for Woking?

Made a single appearance for Gateshead in the premier and was poor, Highly impressive for Ilkeston in the Evo Stik Premier so perhaps Conf North is his level?

Irony at its best this morning as we have announced the Signing of Sam Berry from Welling who scored Welling second in their vital 2-1 win v Wrexham last season which helped to relegate us!
Think he can be very useful at Conference North level so happy with that!
