Could be a useful point. One point off and a win off Gills.

Deserved win today, but fuck me, Millwall were dire - lump it up and chase it, real basic shite with a niggly edge.

Wish we had a bit more of that.

Big point for us. Deserved all 3, but I'd have taken a point before hand.

Still think we can get 7/9 from our remaining games.

Shite league ain't it mate, sort your back line out and you'll find ways of scoring in the coming games.

Didn't deserve to lose that, draw was a fair result. Kick in the teeth, but still not going to be throwing in the towel yet.

We looked shattered today, played Pugh who fractured his ankle three weeks ago, Hooper and Forrester weren't fit so pleased enough with a point, all be it MK Dons were arguably the worst side going forward I've seen... and the filthiest!

By golly gosh two wins on the bounce and Robins has performed a miracle by making a team of cowardly pub players look like a team with a bit of fight about them .
Could look good for next season in league two. He needs to get rid of at least three quarters of this squad to build something.
If our pathetic chairman had got Robins in last October instead of putting the incompetant duo of Venus and Slade in we would have been ok.

I know it's said every season but you're right - it is an awful league. Blades didn't really impress, Bradford there for the taking, and how the hell Wall were unbeaten in 16 beats me.

Goes to show how unbelievably shite we've been to be in the bottom 4.

Don't get too ahead of yourself. Credit to your boys, but I haven't seen us play that bad since we got relegated to the conference. In fact, I saw better performances in that season. We didn't string 2 passes together all game.

Dont you think its the refs fault we didnt win today? The mk dons defender should have been sent off for an elbow. How can you just book someone for an elbow its either nothing as he didnt do it or a straight red. The stats show 4 vale bookings to 1 mk dons but that 1 should have been red and the mk side were far dirtier than vale. Vale aint even got a tackle in us got be about the 20th shit ref of the season vale have had get worse as every game goes by.

Was right in front of me (and the lino!) and was a straight red all day, swung as Forrester went to go past and has to see red, reckon had it been later in the game we would of seen him walk but the referee seemed to bottle it.

MK had two bookings as their lad cleaned Eagles out and got one. They were awful without the ball, recall seeing MK at Norwich a few years ago as an ex was a Norwich fan (league one) and they were a disgrace that day... was very similar today all be it not under Ince.

That said there is little to say we'd have won against ten men so didn't cost us the win but certainly the opportunity.

He was a lot easier on the cards with us certainly! Hooper was elbowed also first half and referee didn't give the free kick! Eagles was clearly pulled back which led to their best chance as our lads stopped expecting the free kick as their striker went clean through and Mehmet had to save.

Really poor referee today and Browny didn't sound chuffed after!

Yes, absolutely.

Staring relegation in the face being one point off safety with extra games. :eye:
But your side is poor, your gates are dwindling, you've no money and Smurf wants out.
So the general feeling...and it's a vibe we're picking up ever more strongly over here in affluent Cheshire,is that dark days in English football's bottom tier beckon...with perhaps further decline to soon follow (I.e National League ).

F'ing hell, Millwall. How poor are you to lose to Swindon, especially conceding in injury time to one of the least fit teams I've seen in years?!

Bury are still in big trouble, need to beat Oxford on Tuesday as the last few games include Rochdale, Bolton, Bradford, Southend. All tough teams to beat. They are all in with promotion automatically or at worse via the playoffs. Going to the final game for me.

Be keeping you company then... if we go down we will need a good rebuild but if we survived at that level under Valiant 2001 when we really had no money then we will manage under Smurf.

We have Bolton, Fleetwood, Southend and Rochdale (and Wimbledon) - no easier.

First time I've ever seen "affluent" and Crewe in the same thought.

Yes I thought you were one of the poorest sides i've seen at the Ricoh, in-fact I cant remember anyone who played as badly, which obviously was out of character as you are upper mid table, but Rovers really played incredibly poorly, but I'm going to give us some credit at last for putting you under pressure so you couldn't build momentum and string a few passes together.
We have been so shite all season, no passion no fight and all the rest, and it is without doubt the worst side ive ever seen play professional football, but at last Robins has a system that plays to the few strengths these players have.
All I'm saying is with a good summer recruitment, the chairman has said the budget will be very competitive next season, Robins could get a half decent team together, but by god if he keeps the goalkeepers we could really struggle.
Mowbray's truly awful summer of recruitment and the debacle that was giving an untried director the managers job for four months plus Russell Slade we really deserve to go down but with Robins we will be at least competitive next season, that's if he doesn't walk out on us again

Yes, hopefully you can end this season on a high and push on next season. Disgrace that a team like Coventry will be in league 2.

Well, when Bristol City have been by far the best team in the recent few seasons in this league, the comparisons to this year's promotion likelies is there for all to see.

And my point really was, that we are absolute pants yet we could have beaten you the other week, should have beaten Bradford last week, and did beat Millwall yesterday.

Maybe you are brilliant every other game but I can only go on what I've seen and nobody has really impressed in the way Bristol City did, for example.

We're not brilliant no but why would we be that's exactly my point it's the 3rd division why would anyone be brilliant. We've still managed to score 8 goals against you so there has to be a fairly big gap between us both. Every single year people say the league is shit but im not sure what they expect

I think people were spoilt a few years ago with the likes of us qpr Crewe Cardiff wigan etc, all with teams full of players who went on to play in the prem. In fact that year we had a friggin awsome team who would walk this league yet we finished 5th. Sheff Utd this year would prob struggle to finish tip half in that season with the current team

I think they expect to see at least one outstanding team in comparison to others in the league. Not seen that since the likes of Bristol City, Wigan, Norwich, Southampton etc. You're doing a decent job of tearing up a poor league imo.
