Highlights how out of touch some people are with everyday reality though - can't remember who exactly it was but someone said something like they've never washed a window and used a screwdriver. How? Then again I live with people at Uni who claim to have never looked at a fuse box or changed a lightbulb. It never fails to amaze me how sheltered some people seemingly are.

Still, was very amusing to watch this week - particularly enjoyed April who believes it's better to go with no leaflets rather than a hand-made attempt. What planet...

Sam's definitely lucky to still be there. Not surprised at all by the triple sacking though all 3 were awful. David had impressed enough in the other weeks to have a second chance at proving what he can do.

Atm I'm thinking David, Brett, Richard as likely ones to be there at the end.

I think you can add Joseph to that list. He's really impressed me actually. Scott isn't too bad either. The men are certainly better than the girls who are just awful. Selina, Charleine and Vana are all rubbish. Selina and Vana don't seem to contribute much. Charleine is a gobby shite. I also think Gary may struggle as we get down to the final few. He's been in the background for most of the show.

Wouldn't quite put Joseph with the other 3, definitely miles ahead of some of the others, but I feel the other 3 are clear of the pack at the moment.

Think Vana actually showed some nous this week. She managed to reign in Scott's grand designs plan for that womens back garden. I mean, that was hilarious. He wanted to rip out walls and totally gut the place. She waded in and tactfully handled the situation on the 2nd day. First time I think she's made a decent decision.

I think Gary needs to step out of the shadows and be a PM next week. He needs to show leadership. Do that and do it well and he could emerge as a decent candidate. Surprised how weak the girls group has been compared to the boys this year. It's usually the other way round.

Anybody watch You're Fired this week? I know they always come across well afterwards but I really liked Elle. Very honest.

Scott all the way for me. He just seems an all round decent guy and the only one approaching sanity in the whole process. Maybe a bit too nice, his leadership was pretty weak this week but in fairness it was an absolute bitch of a team to work with.

Brett's just a dick. Should have been fired the first week and hopefully it's only a matter of time now. Surely any idiot could realise the best way to self-preservate ( :ffs: ) yourself is to win the task. And for somebody so brazenly out for himself to the detriment of the team, he's the one taking it the most personally. Can't wait until Sir Alan 'verbalizes' he's fired.

Understand why Sam was the one to go this week though. He was a bit of a wet fish and never really did anything.

Scotts mask has slipped for me. Sam deserved to go but Scott lost it and didn't know how to manage the ego's...then went after the only one with a moderately sized one and walked off without even saying bye like a school kid.

All round decent guy? Too nice? Are you kidding?!

Did you see him in the boardroom? Made an outright lie about Brett, a pretty outrageous one at that. Then he tried to rip Sam apart over something he had no clue about. He was nasty and tetchy to random people during the task who wouldn't respond to his bizarre sales pitches for no reason. Really gone off him, he lost his cheeky chappy routine and was shown to be a bit of a nasty person. Maybe this was a one off, but the way he conducted himself this week was disgraceful.

I've warmed to Vana. Usually the American candidates on this show are pretty useless, but she has actually come through the last few weeks pretty well. Gary looked destined for failure on this task, but to be fair, he came good in the end and made a cracking profit. He looks like a very intelligent business man and has also got the 2nd best record in the process thus far.

Next week's task looks like a disaster for both teams. Should be fun.

Only saw a bit of it, but classic apprentice with them acting like used car dealers to shift washing powder.

Funny how we all see it differently. I thought the stuff on the street with the public came across as quite light hearted. He was a bit tetchy but then when he had people outright refusing to do what he said claiming he was just setting them up for the boardroom I don't blame him really.

As Blade touched upon though, managing big egos is his problem. But then by the end he'd drawn a line under it and was going round motivating people doing a pretty good job.

It was calculating how he went right after Sam, but that's the boardroom.

Gary was good yeah, see him as a potential finalist. And although he didn't do much on this task, I've found myself warming to Joseph after disliking him at the beginning.

And Richard went full on Brent-mode this week

Charlene fucked me off this week. As annoying as whatshisface is the way she jumped in with the scented thing and went on and on afterwards...she needed a slap haha

Not sure why they kept getting Sam to do the maths when he was quite obviously rubbish at it.

Next week's looks good with potential hospitalisation fun. Also "I don't have children and I don't like them" - QUITE!

Pretty meh otherwise. Really not very fond of any of this lot.

Enjoy the show but it's not the best series in terms of candidates.

Selina is annoying and I hope it's entertaining when she goes. Not many candidates stand out, Scott and Valentino are alright but they'd be mediocre in previous years. That one that they all dislike who was dancing around outside the shop isn't too bad, I don't know why they hate him so much. Oh, and the quiet lad that Brady dislikes seems an astute businessman but needs to take command a bit more.

How did Sam even get in the process as a 'personal tutor' in his day life? Sounds like one of those people who sends off an application for a laugh actually managed to get through the whole process.

Richard is soooo ridiculous.

I don't really like any of them massively this year and the standard has been low...you don't have to do anything great to look one of the better candidates. Joseph possibly the best of a bad bunch.

I agree on both, Vana has been really good for the last few and has grown on me a lot. I think Gary is good for the final five but probably hasn't got what it takes to win, he's solid but maybe a bit too safe.

Also, every week that Brett doesn't get fired is a good week, he's by far the best entertainment.

It's funny how everybody likes different people.

I'm glad Sam went, he was by far the weakest left. Richard has grown on me each week. He is arrogant but harmless at the same time and I actually think he's pretty with it. Scott to me is pretty weak. A good salesman but I think he lacks common sense. The whole trying to rip somebody's garden out the other week highlighted that and he just attacked people this week with no substance.

Vana is emerging as the dark horse to go all the way whilst Charleine and Selina are gobby bitches. Charleine will go quite far I think though.

Joseph for me is the strongest candidate. Only talks really when it's needed and often speaks sense. David has his moments but seems a bit quiet to win the whole thing. Same as Gary.

Next week looks hilarious

"I have a nut allergy"
*Lady gets taken out on a stretcher*

Hopefully it's not Gary who fucked up. He's cheesy as but seems a nice guy.

Selina is bloody great, she hates everyone. If she'd have been taken back in this week, she'd have been fired (out of a canon with any luck). Glad someone in the process has picked up on how David Brent, Richard is.

Selina is awful, she'll be gone next time she's in the boardroom. I love how obviously Karren hates her.

Whilst Selina is certainly annoying, I thought it was a bit rich for Vana to criticise her for having a paddy about individual sales when Vana was moaning about it earlier in the day.

Glad we agree on something. Haha

Although I'm not sure all women love shopping but if you want to go with that stereotype then go for it

I think it was said. The scene looked like it got cut, and he was so adamant it was said it seems like a bit of an odd thing to make up. There has been rumours of fighting in the house, so I wonder if they were told that they need to keep it out of the limelight? Just in case Brett wins, it wouldnt look too good on Sugar. Maybe I am just reading too much into it.

Only just caught up with it. Can't fucking stand Selina and Charleine. Complete bitches. Sam was a nice guy but just useless. Couldn't stand Brett at first but I'm now warming to him, as well as Vana, together they work pretty well.

Think Valentino could win it, he doesn't really have any noticeable weakness. Also like David. Can't remember who it was that decided to sell cans of Monster for £1.40? But come on, just dense.

Might have been the worst (performance wise) task i've ever seen on the Apprentice.

Don't think any person can claim to have a good week. Not sure how it wasn't a double firing.

Can't. With the number of candidates left and the number of weeks left, they can now only sack 1 a week until the penultimate week when they have 5 left for interviews.

Despite most of their ages, they were ridiculously out of touch. Glow sticks for 11 year olds fgs. Harsh on David but he was the worst of a terrible bunch.
