That Norwich score just shows yet again how bizarre this league is. Forest have now beaten all of the top 3 at there place. Congrats to Brighton and Newcastle, well deserved.

We really do blow hot and cold away from home. Either look good and get a result, or get comprehensively beaten (hence the GD), there's no in between, 2-0 flattered us today.

You're a good side, congratulations.

We should have been 2-0 up before Leeds got going. Shame we can't defend.

7-1, 5-0, 4-1, 4-1, 3-0, 3-0 to list a few of our losses this season..

Strangely our home form is very good. From our record I stated on the last page, against those same top half teams at home we've W7 D3 L0.

It is why in the play-offs I would prefer us to play at home in the first leg (so finish 5th/6th) as we cannot go into a home game 3 goals down. At least if we win the home game first we can just sit back and defend in the away leg.

The front four were as fluid as I've seen for a long time. Roofe helps with that and Pablo was back on song.

Still a minor miracle not to concede though. PNE had some really good moments but at the same time we had one disallowed, one off the post and one off the line too. Could easily have been a 5-3 or something. Lots of good performances but ultimately shouldn't have been that comfortable.

Not sure Preston's keeper had his best game either...Everything seemed to squirt past him.

Yep you were excellent after the first 15 minutes or so. Not really sure what happened with the 2nd goal but Maxwell couldn't do anything with the 1st. Offside goal was a good decision, linesman didn't see the little flick on the way through to Wood and the ref did.

If Barkhuizen had taken one of his two early sitters it could've been a different game but he didn't and you punished us. Beckford is a fucking donkey now too, should have had a hat trick.

Leeds are a good side, they're the best team to come to deepdale in my opinion and they looked good again today.

We should have been in front through Barkhuizen and then you never know but he can't score them all I suppose.

That's any slight chance we had of making the play offs gone, it was a long shot anyway. Hopefully we can finish the season well and not let it fizzle out like last year and look to start next season strong.

Game over, was fun while it lasted.

Didn't follow the game but sounds like we were just beaten by a better team, same as the game at Deepdale. Bapstiste getting sent off and them grabbing a third in the 90th minute rubbed salt in the wounds a bit.

Still been a very good season for us, in terms of resources we should be scrapping with the likes of Rotherham and Wigan.

Automatic two places might not go top the wire as expected before.

Newcastle winning at Brighton and Huddersfield prevented the three-way close run finish. Last of the 46 most important could now be Wednesday v Fulham on the last weekend.

Fulham putting in another strong performance at Norwich despite having a man sent off.

Gonna need about 80 points for play offs this year ffs.

Every time i think we get clear. Can't see us picking up anything tonight and suddenly we're in real danger...Despite on paper a fair run in.

Fulham have a tough run-in, plus they have to play Wednesday. Reckon you'll be fine.

This was one of their tough games and they smashed through it...

We're more than capable of fucking up away at the likes of Burton at the best of times, never mind under pressure!

That said, it's not just one team who have to finish above us...All three of reading, Wednesday and Fulham need to outdo us which gives a little bit of hope.

We can match you and be fine. I'm hopeful given we still have Forest, Rotherham, Wigan and Burton to play - though would much rather be facing clubs with nothing to play for.

Last week or so has made me a lot more nervous though.

Well you are playing us next, but unfortunately you're away and you're not good away, and we always seem to beat you...

I await tomorrow evening when I can get my foot surgically removed from my mouth.

I would've been bricking it had we lost today, but 79 points with 5 games to play will see us safe.

Big test for Reading's mental strength coming up. A 7-1 defeat has the potential to set you back for a while.

We've lost by 3-5 goal margins this season and come back and won, no reason why it should halt us. Still think we only need 7 points at most and with Villa (A), Rotherham (H), Forest (A), Wigan (H), Burton (A) we would have to be worse than Derby to miss out.

Ha, that's as undeserved a goal as I've seen in a while. Big for Leeds

Yeah, Leeds were dominated throughout and were only in a position to equalise because of Jansson and Green making a few last ditch saves. Wood has proved that he is always a danger though.

Jansson is a beast. Least deserving point I've seen all season but him and Green kept Leeds in it. We should have had a penalty but whatever, our own fault for not putting the chances away.
