It's clueless which is the hardest thing to take when we've all seen what this team is capable of.

We're looking over our shoulder too, we can't fucking score. With Pitman out for 10 weeks we need McGoldrick fit (hasn't been for 3 seasons), and Williams fit to give us a little creativity. Sears on a 36 game streak without a goal doesn't help either.

I don't usually think sacking managers is the right way to go but you desperately need to replace Trollope because there was just no guidance or instruction coming from your bench today. I don't think you've got a bad team but it didn't take a lot for their heads to drop. Their confidence must be rock bottom. Kudos to your support though for a) all staying right to the end and b) for the "Trollope for England" song

We'll be here come the end of the season unless we can cut out the stupid mistakes and also get our best 11 out consistently. A more clinical and confident team would've got something from us today. Not complaining though...

In all seriousness I'd probably go as far as to whittle it down to four clubs now. Ourselves, Burton, Blackburn and Rotherham. I'll be honestly shocked if it's not three of those four. We played Burton yesterday and it felt like many of our L1 games last season. They were rubbish but we were hardly any better. Wasted a couple of golden chances and ended up only drawing. Being unable to win games like that at home are the difference between staying up and going down. Very worrying times for us, lose our next two and I can see us getting cut adrift.

Our next three games are against the top 3 so we could slide back down into this, but even if we do, i'm confident we'll climb clear again before Christmas. We're a better team than last year but suffered another piss poor start to the season and lost games by very fine margins.
