Mobile Phones.

Don't get me wrong, they're a great invention and I love mine but I think the usefulness and joy I get from mine is being surpassed by the fucking annoyance from other people's.

It's either someone's music blaring out or someone spending the whole train journey jabbering away on one or someone walking in to me because they're too busy playing Candy Fucking Crush or the rudeness of people who are speaking on one when trying to order a coffee or something.

If the vote came to banish them, I'd be in the 'yes' camp and go back to peace and fucking quiet.

There, I've said it.

I never sought out to get one in the first place as the only point of them that was good I felt was if there was an emergency came up and someone had access to a mobile to get help. I got my first one from my dad as an Xmas present in the nineties and only came around to getting a smartphone 2 years back only because I wanted to have a decent camera as I don't have a digital camera in the first place. They have their uses but I'd be with you and be up for banning them if possible. The genie is well out the bottle on that one now though and we are all stuck with them.

smartphones are absolutely amazing u prehistoric fucks. u can listen to all the music in the world whenever u want, talk to all your friends across the world instantly, u can take a photo of someone and using an app see what they'd look like as a dog and i can call u both boring old c*** whilst ignoring people on the bus

Driving to work yesterday, I was behind a driver who couldn't keep at a constant speed. It was either 45mph, which meant they'd then speed up to 60mph to catch the car in front up, only to then obviously get too close for their liking because they'd then drop back down to 45mph to create another gap. Then speed up etc etc...

I then travelled back from work, only to get stuck behind a white van man who was that close to the car in front he kept tapping his brakes every few seconds for 20 odd miles.

I also don't like people who a) don't indicate at roundabouts or b) indicate pretty much as they've left a roundabout and therefore thinking that that's classed as indicating at a roundabout.

I'll build on this last one.

I hate people that don't indicate at all. They'll just make a turn and I'm sat there going "yeah, its alright, I'll just guess which way you're going!!!".

But even worse are people that don't indicate when turning in one direction, yet when they come to their next turn in the opposite direction, they find their indicator somehow. I mean, what, does your indicators only work in one direction or something?! People who don't indicate are bad drivers. People who inconsistently indicate are lazy bad drivers, which is worse. Really grips my shit.

And you wouldn't care less if Liverpool weren't involved. Incredible that a fan of Liverpool is moaning about a lack of coverage

Not at all, I like the EL, its a more interesting competition - though can be greatly improved - than the CL which is the same old 8 sides comes the QF's year on year.

Its just incredibly disrespectful to the English sides that they offer no news coverage of it at all yet cover the CL which they don't broadcast any more, like its wonderful. They went on about the Barca pen the other week about being disrespectful, but they have behaved way worse to the English sides here I reckon.

As Blade says above, why should they take it seriously if the clubs don't?

It's a shit competition, the JPT of European football, most of the clubs involved can't even be assed and most of the fans of said clubs would prefer not to even be in it.

It's a bit better now that it qualifies the winner for the CL though.

Went to Rapid Vienna in the summer against Ajax. Unbelievably good atmosphere.

Sky Sports News is awful at all times. I can't imagine watching it to try and get some useful information.

You'd think that if it had been sat there for 70+ years and not exploded, it's probably not going to now, either...

I dunno, surely they may be more likely to explode as they degrade over time?

they become so instabile over the years, that they cant be transported anymore and they will be blown up where they were found.

I think they had 500lb-1000lb bombs back then which would cause a hell of an amount of destruction.

Long term gains.
Narcissists(the personality trait, not the song by the libertines). Unfortunately have to work with with one of these. Only cares about appearances and constantly belittles others to appear "cool" or "funny" in front of his mates.

Most people can see through it, but to those that can't being on the receiving end of it must be absolutely horrendous.
