A guid dram
Its one of those rare films that is so utterly terrible, but you find yourself having fun somehow! Carrie 2 another fine example!
Aye Smudge I've seen Soldier, it is poor but one of those 90's sci-fi films that is crap but very watchable. Always liked Kurt Russell though and have watched him in many crap films. I did hear about the screenplay being a 'spiritual sequel' according to it's writer (and Blade Runner) David Peoples, but I'd take that with a heavy pinch of salt! :D

Is that the film where he has about 30 words to say in the entire thing? If so, it's shit!

Haha yeah he is very monosyllabic in it and just stares a lot. It has Gary Busey and Jason Isaacs in it though to lift it slightly.

Now my #5 is also out, with The Breakfast Club.

Mike won't like it one bit.

Love Aliens. Finished quite highly on my list.

Only saw Goonies for the first time last year. Fantastic film. Can see why so many love it.

This would have been my number 1 had I made a list in time...without doubt my favourite film ever. Brillant. Film of the 80's easily.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
heck, them last couple have thrown some spanners into the works I was sure Aliens and Die Hard would be in the top 5 and neither is.

So trying to think of which could be, has to be Empire strikes back, Ghostbusters, Raiders of the lost Ark, Terminator....I think those 4 ain't been picked and one other.

I'm sure Back 2 The Future is yet to appear. I don't think so anyway.

That shouldn't be anywhere near the top 50, let alone the top 5. Worst of the trilogy.

You think original is the worst of the 3?? I beg to disagree. 1 and 3 were good, 2 not so much.

Haha. I can see how you got mixed up to be fair. The title of the first 1 is actually Back To The Future, I just put 2 because it was easier to type, if a little confusing.

2 is okay and needs to be watched every time you watch the first one purely for continuity purposes. As a standalone though, it's nowhere near as good as the other 2. I've only actually seen 3 about twice actually. As when I was a kid, I had the first 2 taped off tv back to back and for some reason, the 3rd was never on. I even bought an especially long play tape for the purpose.

Long and short play VHS. ..now that's 80s!
