A year on from a 4-1 loss at Doncaster, and a much more positive atmosphere now.
Looking forward to seeing my 3rd away win in a row. 3-2 Crawley.

Feeling scarily optimistic for this one. Gillingham are a good side, but they are the lowest scorers in the league. Hopefully our defence can cope better against them than they have against most of the other opponents we've faced so far.

This being a home game should play into our hands. I would imagine they will try sit deep and try to hit on the counter or from set pieces. Hopefully if they do that, it'll allow us to settle and play our style, which should lead to chances.

After drawing yesterday, I hope they would be able to get 3 points in this one. Going for a 2-1 win.

We’ve got a really important run of games now for our season.

Tough start and of course there are a number of fans calling for hurst to be sacked, the majority being those without a brain, a short memory, or just keyboard warriors, but we now go Into a run of playing teams where we really should be getting results going our way more often than not, and if we don’t those voices are going to get louder and louder.

Barrow have started well, again, but it is a game we can’t afford to lose, and if we cut out the silly mistakes at the back, we should expect to win.

We have to see this as a good chance for a much needed win. I don’t want to think about losing this one.

Yep. Hopefully we'll see Rose and Wilson up top together which is what you'd imagine is the first choice plan. Encouraging that they took a single minute of being on the pitch together yesterday for the first time this season to combine and score. Really need to be kicking on now that we've got an easier run of games. Not classing Barrow as easy game like, it never is and they're up in the top ten right now. Old Man Wild will have them well drilled so I'm expecting a tough match. We're due a win in a tight one though as we've been worth more than the one point we've taken from the last twelve. We could have quite fairly taken nine points from those four, to have less than three is hugely frustrating. I think expectations of the playoffs have well and truly been tempered but even considering the poor run of results I don't think we're too far off being a decent side. It's just a bit disjointed and incohesive right now.

Wrexham will beat us, we’re not at our best and clearly missing Oates, Kilgour and Quinn. Think we’ll get overpowered by the front line of Wrexham

Looking forward to see us up against one of the in form teams in the league, and Wiilams’ former club.

After shipping 8 goals in 135ish minutes we might try and pull the reins in a bit so we get a Morecambe away style of performance. Or we might play rush goalie, who fuckin knows with this mob.

Think wrexham will be a test for sure, be nice to be back at home though, seeing if we can build on our record of 5 wins and a draw (or 4 wins and 2 draws depending on how you view how we beat Peterborough)

Despite the ongoing injury issues we’ve held our relatively well and the midfield has done well, i’d expect wrexham to score but it sounds like their defence isn’t as clever as ours, so little wonder the BTTS is 8/15.

Looks pretty much like a full house once again all round.

We don't score goals away from home at the crazy rate we do at home and you hardly concede any. We've only scored 3 in 4 games away so far. I'd be amazed if we won this game tbf.

3 away goals in 4 games vs 2 home goals conceded (both in the same game, yet still won) in 4 games = away win, obvs

Bringing Bostock in would at least be a small move in the right direction regarding solidity.

Will Angry Jim get to run around, get amongst them, kick a few people and try overambitious passes he really shouldn't be making?

If Wrexham do any homework they will focus on maximum pressure on Lewis Brunt, gifted Colchester and Gillingham a goal recently and got away with it at Stanley.

Can tell he’s traditionally a midfielder and not a defender because he likes carrying the ball too much. Actually done well other than the 2/3 grave mistakes, recovered very well yesterday.

Our strength is also our weakness. We play with 3 CBs - 2 of which maraud upfield, set up attacks leaving poor old Brewitt on his own to cover at the back. Tbf, he usually does a Sterling job - mainly because, to date, opposition strikers have generally been shite when we offer up chances.

Cant see County declining those on offer Tuesday.

We looked so disjointed Saturday Tuesday could be an absolute slaughter, unless we get a lucky break early and they find their confidence again. Though even then not putting out a midfield is a bit of a handicap.

Sounds very similar to us. Our centre halves are happier going forward than backs to the wall defending.

Certainly focus on our left, brunt is still more than decent, and as i said in stagsnet last night the lads a level above harbottle from last season.

Brown and McCann are both decent players but unfortunately neither of them are of the ball winning or holding type, playing both of them together is an open invitation to be over-run...which seems to be happening with unerring regularity.

This is going to be a 7-7 draw or something, we're exactly the same.

Be surprised if it was anything other than the one change of Bostock back in for Austin.

Rare example of Williams getting it wrong yesterday with the starting line-up, the midfield was just way too open in the first half. I know we shipped another two in the second half yesterday after we made that switch but one was just a horrible error from Baldwin and the other a long range screamer, we were far more balanced and less open to the counter.
