They had 5 legends/special attractions on last night and they were all inconsequential. Vince McMahon thinks just seeing them is what people find entertaining. What a waste.

They threw everything they had at it last night and it was still pointless and boring.

Agreed. They've only really built the Lesnar/Taker HIAC match, the rest have had zero hype. The only saving grace Raw had for me was The Shield reuniting for one night. I do wonder if they'll put them back together properly soon with the rumblings of Reigns & Ambrose turning heel. However if they reform the Shield as heels one of New Day/Wyatts will need to go face to avoid being overrun with heel stables.

Liked the whole Shield re-union tease. Thought it was an okay show on the whole, first time in a few weeks I haven't been completely bored and skipping a lot, I tried to watch it with patience and give it a chance and I have certainly seen a lot worse. The Cesaro/Zig/Nev Barrett/Sheamus/Rusev match was okay, think the later three would make a pretty solid heel group actually.

Have to disagree a little with the above comment on only Taker/Lesnar being built, they've done a lot of focus on Wyatt/Reigns which it seems will be over after this Sunday thank god, time they both moved on. Unless they are going to carry on this on at S.Series and have the four Wyatt's against Ambrose/Reigns/Orton/+1 .New Day/Dudleys has also been built up to some extent.

Only two more Raws before the one in Manchester I'm at I believe, my only wish is New Day are still tag team champions by then.

Surely Cena will lose his title Sunday if he is away for two months?! Wonder who that will be..

I notice this thread and the wrestling section on a whole has quietened down, have people give up or still watching and can't be bothered to comment?

Another comment I will add, can we drop these "teams" on the divas revolution and let them all go at it solo or something, that would be more interesting IMO.

The rating for Raw was only 2% up on last week's all time low rating. They threw everything they had at popping a rating and it's still a disaster. Maybe they'll realise that things need to have a purpose for them to be interesting.

Breeze debuts on Smackdown this week.

Looking forward to seeing how the angle with Breeze/Ziggler goes down. Now he's debuted, he's in with a shout for that Cena open challenge.

I think debuting now eliminates him being a possibility.

Finally Tyler Breeze is on the main roster!! Whenever I caught bits of NXT, he catches attention, he isn't generic and stands out!

Just hope he doesn't get pissed on and disappears into obscurity like Fandango. Putting him with Summer makes sense but I hope they don't go predictable route of involving him with another woman and getting caught up in same old love triangle.

.

I have posted almost non existant witht he TNA thread thesedays and its not as such that I've dropped TNA, just sadly I find it hard to get time to watch it at the moment as I moved into a new flat months ago with my girlfriend who doesn't like Wrestling and while she says I can watch it and 'shes ok' they go and pull that guilt trip approach so you end up recording it and will watch it later and it never happens.

so I have about 6 episodes to watch and never can

lack of WWE updates is I think down to fact less here are watching it live than used to.

but its not easy to talk on wrestling at moment its in worst state I think I've ever seen the business......shame really as I thought it was turning about 2 years back.

WWE's product is so bad that virtually nobody bothers watching these days, especially not in real time.

Wait, Tyler Breeze debuted? I only watched the hour long Smackdown as I had to fit it in before watching Hell in a Cell... they somehow cut that out of it. What the fuck?!

Yep. Sadly with Summer Rae but it looks like he'll feud with Ziggler which could be decent.

Good Raw. There was reason and purpose, the crowd were great too. The only bad thing was the pointless 6 man tag.

Pointless six man tag and no real use for Dean Ambrose unless it's teasing a turn on Reigns.

Great Raw for me, matches were all enjoyable, not too much filler. Those 6 man tag matches need to fuck off though, been done to absolute death, there are 2-3 guaranteed every week, I wouldnt mind as much if there was a Lucha style trios title but its getting worse now with 3 man teams like New Day, Barrett/Rusev/Sheamus, Stardust/Ascension, the 3 divas teams, Wyatts. I think Reigns is either winning the title or finally getting screwed by Ambrose, he cant be happy kayfabe wise doing nothing and playing second fiddle, doesnt fit with his character, a Sheamus cash in could be soon I guess too. Still a lot of issues to address, been some criminal booking recently, such a great talent roster and inept booking, the PPV and Raw were very good but doesnt erase the last few weeks/months of pointless and shit booking of 6 man tag 6 divas tag, tag, Rollins losing, Kane, 6 man tag, tag, Reigns/Wyatt, 6 divas tag, Rollins promo, Kane, New Day, oh another 6 man tag.

One of the best Raw's in recent months, the whole number one contenders tournament brought off four good single matches then topped off by a decent fatal 4 way.

Not much bollocks to it and the main point of the show was the matches, please keep this up WWE and not short stupid matches with comedy segments and long boring promos constantly.

Would have loved for Cesaro to be in the fatal four way though, his performance against Owens was superb.

What a difference a crowd makes. Got me excited for Reigns v Rollins. Not sure where they're going with it. Kind of expected Rollins to keep the title for longer. Survivor Series isn't really as big as it used to be, but with 'Taker appearing maybe they'll do a switch? Kind of expect Cena to get involved in the title picture in the new year too.

Another good week, more focused on character and story development, which we've all been asking for.

I'm going next week and I'm pretty happy with how things are shaping up.

Yeah I'm more looking forward to it now after two decent Raw's, just hope we don't get the contract signing bollocks. Looked on Manchester Arena site before and they are advertising Reigns/Kane/Ambrose Versus Rollins/Bray/Strowman. Whether that happens is one thing, could be the dark match after if they finish with a promo I guess or the genuine main event.

Only complaint this week is Ryback being in the main event, not a fan of him, Cesaro would have been much better there.

They seem to be building towards S-Series each week (Reigns last week, Paige this) so hopefully we may get some sort of match to determine challenger for US, IC or Tag Titles.

Tournament at SS to crown new champ. I like tournaments. Have Reigns vs Ambrose in the final, give Ambrose the belt and turn Reigns as someone that snapped due to coming up just short once too often.

Reigns was winning anyway IMO but this is just as bad news for him. Only going to further any negative reaction and there's no blow off to Seth's reign.

Goddamnit they've replaced him with Big Show for tonight's house show vs Kane... Please don't tell me I'm going to have to sit through that on Sunday. :err:

Ahhhh that's shit. I really like Rollins. At the same time, he's worked so hard during his title rein that a break will probably do him good. He'll be able to come back, hopefully as a face, with some real momentum that he was never clean pinned for the title.

I was expecting HHH vs Rollins at WM. Hopefully now this allows HHH vs Rock. I'd love to see that one more time. One of my favourite attitude era feuds.

There's actually no top heel right now available for the title picture. Someone is definitely turning.

Massive blow to WWE. Thank god Cena is also off otherwise I'd be fearing the worst.

Apparently it's a serious knee injury which could mean 6-12 months out! Probably means Sheamus will get a push now too.
