There's actually no top heel right now available for the title picture. Someone is definitely turning.

Why don't they just sign up Bobby Roode, chuck him right into the tournament and just let him get on with it.

Miles miles better heel than anything WWE have had for years and years and if an outsider just came in, beat most of the WWE roster and became Champion on is debut he's sealed himself over with the fans right away.

Its sad when a young wrestler gets a right crap injury but its maybe what WWE need a big tournement can freshen the whole roster up, although i'd maybe not done it SS if i'd been WWE.......its a good chance for them to build up 3-4 storylines.

Great, just before going to Raw for the first time.

I feel your pain.

I love Seth Rollins and I'm gutted by this news. On the flip side though this could make Monday quite interesting, maybe some tournament qualifiers, a Seth promo vacating the title (Edit - just seen some article saying he's going back to States... maybe not then) and like you say maybe a heel turn.

Looks like he will miss Mania as well, wonder if the Shield triple threat was ever on the cards for the title.

Looking forward to Monday though being my first show, New Day best smash it.

Libertine, if you have Show/Kane you have my sympathy, i just hope it's not the main event if so.

Dave, TNA isnt always the answer.

neither is dismissing a wrestler just because he is in TNA.

Roode is extremely experienced, is one of the best in the business on the mic outside of WWE, is very strong in the ring also and has been able to play heel or face easily.

If WWE need a wrestler able to play a strong heel quickly then he's a good one to go for. One thing i have said for years is WWE should never be afraid to bring in someone from an outside company and push him to their main roster, it worked in the past and can now (and that can be ROH as well as TNA or elsewhere)

as for the guys frustrated about this happening before they go to the show do not worry about it, a show can be good or horrendous regardless of who turns up, been to many a show and you can be let down by the main stars but some of the minor stars can really really impress.........it'll all be down to the booking and you never know the injury may generate a really good storyline in the shows.

Have Wyatt involved, Taker and Kane come out and get Wyatt the win. Reigns then feuds with Wyatts/Taker and Kane. Really play on Wyatt having control like Undertaker used to back with the Ministry. Have people like Reigns trying to win the title but Wyatt having these big guys around him making things difficult. Keep it up for as long as possible with various people getting involved and tehn when Seth is back, reunite the Shield and have them take on the Wyatts culminating in one of the Shield members winning the rights to a match with no outside interference and the title finally changing hands.

In that time bring up Samoa Joe, Sami Zayn (if possible), James Storm and maybe Corbin from NXT to give this Wyatt faction people to feud with and keep things interesting.

This is a chance to really do something with Wyatt as opposed to this cringey little feuds he keeps having. He's been booked strongly as of late and, having his henchmen help him out can legitimise him as a chicken-shit heel drawing shitloads of heat for never really doing it himself and always having his backup. That way you have a proper storyline going forward for several months involving several talents.

Or, ya know, just have a bog standard tournament and give it to Reigns and then decide what to do with everyone...

So they've sent Ambrose and Owens over to the other side of the tour now and that will be main eventing those shows. Happy with that!

I don't mind Reigns getting the title as long as he turns heel. If he stays face and Ambrose turns it will be a disaster.

Be interesting to see how they do the tournament as I imagine a few names that would have been in the Undertaker survivor series match may well have to be in the title picture now.

Libertine, how was your show or you not been yet?

Looking forward to Raw tonight being my first WWE event, no idea what it's going to be like. Can't see it being to many surprises with the tape delay and power of social media effectively spoiling it for the yanks before they watch it, sure they would rather do surprises while live in America so nobody knows.

On the flip side with ratings being down they could do a surprise or two and people find out which would make them want to tune in.

Timing wise, how long does the TV record go on for? It says 7pm start on ticket but I assume Superstars is taped before hand and Raw should only go couple of hours with not having to wait for live TV adverts.

In other news, looking around looks like they are going with Taker/Cena and Rock/Triple H at Mania, but that could soon change. Would be quite happy with them two if the case, hopefully the Taker/Strowman idea has been dropped.

I think Raw starts at 8, so Main Event or Superstars will be on for an hour before. I'm going to try to get in around 6-6:30, get some merch and get pissed.

Yeh last night. Had good seats, first row of the tiered seating. Had :
Dudleys V New Day tables match,
Cesaro v Miz (30 swings),
Balor vs Sheamus (probably match of the night),
Kane v Big Show street fight (Kane chokeslammed Show off top rope through table for win),
Bo Dallas vs Curtis Axel then vs R-Truth (both 5 second victories)
Charlotte & Becky vs Brie/Foxy with Paige guest ref and
Ambrose v Owens for IC title.

Turned out pretty well considering the injury to Seth. Really want to go to a taping next time though as it'd be nice to be at a show where the outcomes aren't quite so inevitable.

This is apparently the SS tournament (with a spoiler haha).

Assuming it's right my predictions would be:

Top half:

Reigns Def Big Show
Cesaro Def Sheamus
Del Rio Def Stardust
Ryback Def Kalisto

Reigns Def Cesaro
Del Rio Def Ryback

Reigns Def Del Rio

Bottom half

Owens Def Titus
Barrett Def Neville
Miz Def Ziggler (cost by Breeze)
Ambrose Def Breeze

Owens Def Barrett
Ambrose Def Miz

Ambrose Def Owens

FINAL - Reigns Def Ambrose.

If the above graphic is genuine, intrigued to see how predictable WWE is with them predictions.

Went to Raw tonight, it was so good, the ending was unreal, I won't spoil it for everyone so if you want to know what happens just highlight the below (I'l type it in white)

Undertaker and Kane come out, Ric Flair makes an appearance, Wayne Rooney is even there.

Thought it was a decent Raw, not sure if being there made it better, see what you guys watching it on tele make.

Intrigued how they edit crowd noises, Roman got booed a fair bit and the reception for New Day was incredible they were well loved. During the Roman Show match (sigh) loads were chanting boring and Big Show got on the mic to say he's not boring as he's not one of us or something, think that might be missed out of TV!

Very good ending. I enjoyed it for my first show.

Titus O'neil in the tournament though, what the hell? Kalisto versus Ryback, you what?!

Sheamus/Cesaro was best match for me.

Don't think Ric Flair coming out will make the TV though, sure that arse licking was just to keep us going.

Kevin Owens & Zeb Colter were rather amusing on the mic.

Yeah the crowd also chanted "Briefcase wanker" at Sheamus so I'm sure they'll edit that out.

I like the fact they're running the tournament on Raw/Smackdown then having the finals at the PPV makes much more sense plus who would have though it, Taker & Kane both showing up on a UK tour event! Amazing.

That last 30 minutes was the best bit of Raw for a year, the whole show was good though. The Title being dropped was ironically the best thing that could have happened to the show.

Unsurprisingly they edited out Big Show responding to 'boring chants' by taking the mic and saying 'I'm not boring I'm not from here' and I'm sure they'll edit 'briefcase wanker' chants at sheamus,

Makes me wonder if they edit stuff out every week

The roster is really that bad?

Titus, Neville, Kalista in the world title tournament??

Hoping they push Ambrose proper in this tournament and he goes all the way to the final...even win it!

Another decent Raw. Not sure about the ending though for some cheap heat.
