Can we just not play the game and give Bristol City the 3 points. Saturdays home game against Burton was as bad a performance as i can remember. 3-0 Bristol City with at most 1300 Reading fans there.

That's quite annoying, although understandable given the price you charged us at yours.
Pretty much sold out in the home stands again but 3,500 empty seats in the Atyeo then.
Any chance of an extension Steve?
2-0 City.

All we can hope for is a reversal of the game at the Madejski, and as the away team try and nick a goal to win it as Bristol City did to us earlier in the season. Although this should be a fairly routine victory for them.

Very much doubt this will be Stam's last game if we lose. We've lost our last two with terrible performances, but had gone with one defeat in nine before that (an unlucky defeat to Wolves) which has given him more time. We're just at the point now where we either have to pack it in and decide that this current method is failing, or try and do a Bristol City/Lee Johnson and hope that there is light after the shit. I think the lack of suitable replacements will keep him in, possibly until the Summer.

No worse than their pathetic following at ours last season when they were third in the league.

They'll still win at AG though, as they do every single time.

Unless we get dragged into a relegation battle then i don't think he will be sacked.

There has been a definite pattern in our results recently:

W
W
D
L
W
W
W
D
L
W
W
W
W
D

So that means a loss today. But fear not fellow reds, this means we'll win our next five!

That would mean beating wolves, villa, Norwich, derby and qpr, or add Watford and Man City if we count cups :animatedf:

Delayed coming back from my Christmas break thanks to Easyjet so no football for me today :dis:
I hope to land with City in 2nd place, Cardiff defeat and Derby draw.

Our away attendances are shit.. no need to mention it every time. Yours a hardly the greatest either.

Given league positions and timings - no worse than the 1800 you took to QPR last Saturday?

And let's not mention the 400 you took to a top of the table clash with Sheffield United a few weeks ago.

We sold out at QPR you muppet.

We've taken less than 3k to yours once since the Madejski opened. Pathetic following.

And Sheffield away on a Friday? Good luck getting to that unless you're local or leave by 1pm, our away attendance at both Bolton and Derby will be shit too being on Friday evenings.

QPRs allocation is a fair bit bigger than 1800...

FACT: Bristol City selling out at QPR a week before the game is no worse than Reading bringing a sub 1,500 to us on Boxing Day.

WTGR, Madj, QPR wanted the lower tier for their home support so only gave us the top tier. It backfired as it was pretty empty but they were adamant we couldn't have it leaving us with just 1,800 tickets which sold out quickly.
Why we've been given less than the norm at Villa Park is, I assume, down to our friends at the West Midlands police. Once again, we've sold out very quickly and would easily have sold more for both.
Unfortunately, both Derby away and Bolton away have been switched to Friday nights in January so we'll be back to 4/500 as people just can't get there. In particular, the Derby switch is a pain as we would have taken a fair few there.
You'll be facing pretty much 'sold out' home stands today with home fans in the Atyeo I believe. I don't think we, as fans, can do much more TBH.
Given you charged us £20, I think it's a bit naughty that we haven't done the same in return if I'm being honest and assume that's having a negative affect on your numbers? That's quite poor on our part.

Readings player are a bunch of fairies, barrow must of rolled around about 20 times in an attempt to get pack sent off. One of many shit reading players too. Bodvarsson looked decent though, glad when he went off.

Crap opposition but we made hard work of beating them. We need a rest, but the games are coming thick and fast.
