I know. I used to post of deva chat until I got fed up of a few of your regulars swearing at me and calling me a goat for no good reason. At least it's better than the old Deva chat.

I've had a look and can't see anyone calling for us to sign Crawford.

Im sure he's a good prospect but as far as I know not a player on our radar. But he's at the heady heights of League 2 now anyway.

I would love to visit Red Passion, but we're not even allowed to read it without registering. I've tried to register, but w/o any success, so consider yourself privileged to not only be able to post on Deva Chat, but have a dedicated thread.

I get that all the time and worse, but I comfort myself knowing that those people are just sad individuals who have a miserable life.

You can read it on a browser but you have to use an ISP address to sign up, which is a bit odd.

Manager Paul Doswell was delighted today after securing the services of 28-year-old FGR right back Dale Bennett on a two year contract.

Not arsed about this. Clearly didn’t want to play in the VNL evidenced by the amount of ‘niggles’ he got playing for N. Ireland U21s. To think he was only a back up player when we were in the football league, now people saying he’s a massive loss. Shows how far we’ve fallen. What we need now, which the likes of Donnelly couldn’t help with, is a smaller squad capable of playing most games and actually wanting to turn out for us.

He was always going to leave and the fact Pools got some compensation does soften the blow, you've just gotta hope that they have players in line to come in and replace him, as it stands our defence looks weaker than it ever has, we have the two clowns, Magnay and this Anderson who's only played 50 odd games in his career.

We’ve signed Jake Goodman, believe he was at Maidenhead last year.
Any input from Maidenhead fans much appreciated.

Cracking signing, I knew he was looking at other options, but assumed he was off to L2. You've done very well to get him.

He's commanding and consistent, although he could do with losing a stone or two, which is probably why he hasn't moved higher.

Thanks for the response.
All very positive so far.

Poster on Red passion is certain our next signing will be a Chester player.
Personally if that has any truth I would only take Dom Vose from their squad

You'll do well to get James Jones, just been in the Vardy academy last week and from Shropshire.

Should be off to an EFL club really but you never know though. Would have to fork out if it's him.

Good luck to Jake Kirby, hope he fully recovers from his injuries and has a successful season with County.
+1
He was very unfortunate having recovered from a broken leg to pick up another injury which kept him out soon after his comeback.

I can’t see Vose ever getting that run of form back that he had for us. Archer I wouldn’t mind. Obviously he wouldn’t be your main striker, but he could be handy as a 3rd choice like Massanka. He puts himself about a bit and he gave Manny and Pearson a good battle, which not many did last season.

Maidenhead have signed Ryan Bird from us.
Can live with that, although he scored a quite a few goals, he was so slow & only really scored in the 6-yard box.
maybe they can supply him better

More of a loss than Bird, only the other week he was saying
"i want to play in the Football League and want to do that with Dover. "

the bit of the quote missing must have been
"unless i get offered more money"

Josh Rees has signed for Gillingham. Great move for him. 40+ goals last season between him and Louis Dennis, both now in Lge 1. Absolute must to replace those goals.

Oi!

Know nothing about Rees, but a goalscoring midfielder is something we definitely missed last year.
