Just watching the game back, somebody tell that Curzon keeper to not run out 10 yards off his line for a corner.

Bloody Stourbridge bastards. No whiff of any problems with the pitch, and the game being off only being announced through our Twitter account. One for the tinpot thread

Hope you enjoy your day tomorrow although of course hopefully not too much from our perspective.

As I am sure many on this part of the forum will be more than aware of and happy to point out, these are exactly the types of games we used to have real trouble with when we were in this division so I am sure you will know that you have more than a fair chance, especially if you frustrate the home crowd. This year we play a 442 diamond with emphasis on possession which if you have done your homework, get the ball wide when you have and play with a lot of pressing on the back 4 and defensive midfield you should be able to cause us real problems as quite a few sides have this year. I think the movement of Hylton/Marriott (who I have a feeling will return from the bench this weekend) will probably be a bit too much for you but certainly not expecting an easy ride.

You looked a different side in the second half, but we helped you out going from heroic to anonymous defending. Being 2-0 up at half time must have got to the players' heads. 13 minutes between being 2-0 up and 4-2 down :ffs:
Had a great hour in your away stand which will live long in the memory.

I can't imagine Jamey Osborne will be with us by the end of the season. He's been superb all season.

Stourbridge v Northampton called off due to Frozen Pitch. Just a little bit embarrassing. Almost as bad as their tweets

Stourbridge FC ‏@StourbridgeFC 45m45 minutes ago
Still not been notified officially by anyone at the Club, but I understand today's game has been POSTPONED!

Biggest game in their history and no frost covers?!

Fucking annoying! First we heard of it was from our Twitter account saying there was an inspection at 12! Very very poor, wasted day!!

Went to this one as a neutral, bloody good effort from the Moors and a great noisy away following. Didn't deserve to lose 6-2.

The Halifax Town supporters coach broke down shortly after Watford Gap services. I should be home at 2am. Still, we had a good ten minutes midway through the second half today.

As for Woking....I couldnt resist a chuckle to myself.

Yes, I bet. I'm sure Alfreton had a significantly more successful FA Cup run than us this year. If not, I'm sure they'll have done well in the league on Saturday.

5-2 not a fair reflection of our match at Millwalll. Stats show we had more goal attempts than them but unfortunately our makeshift defence let in 3 tap in goals for them from corners. Our 315 fans made more noise throughout the match than their 3000. Without us it would have been like a library.

Well Alfreton played a League 2 side at home and held them to a draw, Woking also played a League 2 side at home......... and didn't.

Seen the replay for the red, never a red in my eyes. You'd have thought he broke someones leg by the way the Accrington players reacted, or that it was the El Classico FFS. That overreaction to a 50/50 is a joke, obviously influenced the ref as well.

Hows Kevin Amankwah doing at Sutton?

Was pretty good for us in the league. Surprised he didnt find another league club after us. They must have some budget to be fielding their current line-up...

Accrington are always like that under Coleman.

I actually thought it was a straight red, though. It's high and he's straightened his leg when going into the challenge in a stamp like motion.

Sounds like we'll have Jamie McCombe at the back tonight, who hasn't played since August bank holiday at August.

I knew you'd get the hang of telling the time one day. Proud of you buddy.
Yep I got it sussed in the end, look in top right hand corner of phone and there is the time clear as day.
The part I'm still struggling with though is when it gets to the afternoon the numbers go a bit crazy, 13 O'clock, 14 O'clock etc when everyone knows time only goes up to 12 O'clock!
What the fucks that all about then, any help from you will be appreciated cheers buddy.

I know yourself and Sparrow are madly in love but now it appears you are actually morphing into one being.
Or do you just both recycle your hilarious witty posts with one another?

Oh aye nothing gets the blood flowing more than an FA Cup Second Round game on a Sunday afternoon against a side most of our fans have never heard of. I'm not sure what you were expecting. Too bad it wasn't at your place rather than ours.

Always amazes me that the Tin Potters expect a real football club to be as excited about their cup final as they are. One thing I can assure you- no Tin Potter will ever see The Shay bouncing. :bdick:
