The sense of dread is setting in. Gonna be Luton away, innit?

Griffin Park is a great ground to visit and a great away day.

I see your review and others' on the match day guides rate it highly. What are the main factors in that for you? Are the pubs really that good?

Maybe, but tbf what NL sides want at this stage is either a big pay day, a winnable tie or at least a home draw to maybe get on TV.

Brentford v a non league team attendance isn't likely to break the 10k barrier, so wont bring in big gate receipts, and it doesn't offer much hope of a result to either Halifax or Eastleigh so wont be on the box either.

shit draw - Rochdale at home - but very very winnable
Rochdale would have been a great draw for us, a local and historic Yorks/Lancs derby match. Rochdale are, I believe, our most played opponents, with almost 140 games between us. :bdick:

2-0 Lincoln. Predictably direct style, hoof it in the box for Rhead to flick it on for Robinson, shit defending by Oldham. Then an absolute gift for Hawkridge, well taken though.

yeah we've had them twice in the cup since I've followed Barrow - lost both times, and we got pelted with stones going to the away game. Rotherham made Barrow look like Beverley Hills (and no I don't mean like the Beverley Hillbillies)

Well seeing as they are the worst team in the country, I'd say it's WINNABLE for anyone.

Millmoor was near the sewage works wasn't it?

Scene of one of our best results ever though, 3-0 1st round replay win in 07. Their fans were great, applauded us off the pich at the end.

Wimbledon at home. Interesting local derby, albeit one between 2 clubs who have a very cordial relationship. Sell out very likely as well.

More importantly a chance to get revenge for Wembley 63!

Let's be honest, this isn't much of a shock.

No, it isn't. We've scored 5 times more than them and the gap is only effectively one league anyway. Imagine if we had a full strength team out.

Ipswich, though...

My only memories of Rotherham are pissed up getting on the wrong train home from Sheffield and there not being another going back that night. Had to get a taxi with the driver quoting £80+ I had no choice but to bite he bullet. Gave him what cash I had and had go the machine on the way, had given him £60 upfront so he'd take me. Got home and meter had only ticked round to £45 so had to give me some change! He was gutted, was about 2.30am and he were an hour from home!

Might see if he'll pick me up if we get through.
