We were under Lawn and Rhodes at the time, they always treated our financial situation as desperate with never ending deficits. We got a poor deal I thought just with the transfer fee, let alone getting add ons in instalments.

I agree with your initial point regarding the previous owners, but I feel the resulting fee we will get from Nahki Wells is more than sufficient.

Original fee: £1.35m
Add-ons: £500k
Promotion bonus: £200k
Sell-on clause: £500k

Total: £2.55m

Apparently according to Sky Sports News Barnsley are after our keeper Simon Eastwood.

It could happen obviously, but I'd be surprised if he goes to be a back up keeper as he picked us over Championship clubs due to being no.1 and playing. He has only missed 1 game in this spell with us, a Checkatrade game, and when asked on Saturday he said he was frustrated at missing that.
