Signed Shaun Mcdonald from Wigan on 2 year deal. Was decent player before his leg injuries not sure what he'll be like now.

Did make me laugh that MacAnthony tweeted something along the lines of it being solely down to Evans that you signed loads last summer, before going on to sign as many players as most of the division combined by the start of June...

The bloke can't help himself!

Our chairman was answering a question from one of your fans about doing business between the 2 clubs & reckons Evans has been on the phone to Barry Fry in regards to signing some players , Rhys Bennett has been with Evans at Mansfield & Posh , good defender but prone to errors most games , don't think many Posh fans would miss him if he joined back up with Evans.

I saw his interview sat in stands & he was most amicable about Posh as is our chairman towards him whereas every interview he did post match games last season Evans couldn't resist cheeky pops at previous managers McCann & Fergie.

Yeah I saw that this morning. Not sure we need another senior centre back with Zakuani, Ehmer and Ogilvie signed up unless we're planning on playing 3 at the back - cash could be better spent elsewhere. We don't have a keeper at the moment so the obvious link to Posh from our end is Chapman. Don't know much about him, but if he's decent enough, available and happy to work with Evans then it seems a sensible fit.

He's complete shit* mate.

*actually a very decent player at this level unfortunately. Key part of our side in 14/15 that pissed the league.

Chapman wants a move back to Yorkshire apparently

We've signed ex-Wolves, Cardiff and Plymouth striker Joe Mason.

We dodged a bullet having £5m turned down for him on deadline day of the January 2016 window it seems then markwwfc1992.

How is it comparable to dodging a bullet? Free transfer, 52 goals in 143 starts mostly in the Championship and only just turned 28 isn't a bad signing for a L1 side. I expect (hope) he'll be more of a squad player to begin with.

The fact that Bristol City nearly spent £5m on a player who’s career had nose dived in the last couple of seasons....

Still, that could be a very shrewd signing for MK.

Ark at her.

I meant we dodged a bullet as we didn't spend 5m who has ended up signing on a free for Milton Keynes Dons less than three years later. He clearly isn't a 5m pound player.

Never said he won't be a decent pull for you.

His career does seem to have taken a strange and negative turn over the past 3 years. Not many games wherever he's gone. Hopefully it's just a case of not getting the chances so he's stepped down a level to L1. Either way, he shouldn't be a starter for us if we have ambitions of doing well.

And yes WhiteRussian, I hope that doesn't mean Agard and/or Aneke are off.

Still got that £750k we offered for Jayden Stockley stuffed away in a drawer somewhere..

If Rhys Bennett is surplus to requirements, I wouldn't mind him coming back to Dale. Only released because he'd been out injured for most of his last season with us (or possibly fallen out with Keith Hill - who knows).

The reaction on their forums and 18 cleans sheets last season would suggest he's a decent signing. Love the outrage that he'd rather join us than them.

Scunny bound maybe ?

Poor lad !!!

Nice gesture from your club re the mascots for the Free Kicks Foundation for the upcoming 2019/20 season , our chairman was bigging it up & your club on social media .

Community projects and family is a big thing for us, it's seen as a way to get the next generations through the door of all clubs given that so many are under threat of extinction especially now UEFA have backed a European Super League which would mean next to no money coming to lower league clubs.

We trying to do a swap deal with Purrington going back to them apparently.

Might be what sways it although wouldn’t be surprised to see him linking up with Robinson at Oxford, he loves a former player that bloke.

Expect Oxford to be linked with Ben Reeves at some point too.

Very good signing for you. He started off unplayable but he did begin to decline as the season went on. Apparently we didn't offer him that good of a deal which for me is a bit of a joke but hey ho.

Great shot stopper & will definitely gain you some points, however his kicking is absolutely shocking. Probably the worst I've seen at this level. But he made so many vital saves for us he could be forgiven

Linked with Kieran Agard.

You don't want him, really, honestly you don't. :bg:

I'd like him to stay but with his contract up I suppose it is just down to who offers him the most. He's 29 so this could be his last decent contract.
