Not read other posts here, but elsewhere some Liverpool fans are bemoaning Mourinho's park the bus tactics. Whenever I see this sort of criticism, regardless of who is making it I just think it's bollocks. United had a plan to stop Liverpool playing the way they have been and it worked. It was down to Liverpool to break them down and if they didn't have the quality to do that it's their problem. As a game the first half was dire and I'm not sure why Klopp put Coutinho in a LCM position. When he got the ball he was basically having to run with it into the space where ordinarily he's been recieving it. I also think it's nonsense that Mourinho went to Anfield for a draw. For one his ego is too big for that and additionally why would he when his team has the talent to to have got all 3 points?

He patently did precisely that, which makes the question you ask all the more pertinent. But we have seen in the past that it's the way he works away in big games, and it's been successful for him in the past.

He's been here for two minutes, if he doesn't get results after his honeymoon period then fans will likely want him gone, he's not our boyfriend.

£200m? When? You don't really know what you're on about.
Ah I just checked, just the mere £150m this summer. Well if that's the case then i hope he can snag a top half place

Don't seem to remember too many Liverpool fans complaining when they played defensively every week under Houllier, but when it's done against them they sure don't like it

I can forgive someone's bad memory from 12 years ago I guess.

The game? It was a big bag of shite (like most of our encounters are), and United got what they came for, so fair play to De Gea for getting them it.

I feel like they're the exact type of game we'd have contrived to lose in comical fashion in the past so I guess there's that. Not too downhearted with the draw. We lacked a bit of balance without Wijnaldum or Lallana, when Adam came on we were the obviously better team.

Must say there's definitely a lack of attacking cohesiveness in that United team (even if it were hard to judge from that). Had us on the ropes for the first 20 or so, yet never really created anything despite that and the attacking play betrayed an individualism rather than any cohesive plan as of yet. Something Mourinho will be intending to work on I assume, and there was the big lack of Martial, the clear threat they have. But that'd be the short term concern if I were a United fan.

Ibrahimovic had a bad game, which broke down our attacking cohesiveness. He gave the ball away and made poor choices too often.

Martial lacks the temp for that kind of game, but I thought he was going to come on later. The plan was to put Rashford through the centre towards the end, as Mourinho said, but he had to go off.
