Going to feel sorry for Guiseley if their game is abandoned!

Well tonight proved as well as not having players of our own fit for purpose, we haven't even got an away kit that is fit for purpose. Barring a miraculous turnaround (even by our Houdini standards) we are gone this season.

FT Barrow 1 Macc 1. Happy with that having gone 1-0 down late on.

Deserved point for Macc. Just a dull game all round - neither side looked like they could be bothered, but a better result for you as the away team.
Our keeper fucks up to concede an equaliser - he's single-handedly cost us six points this season.

Both teams looked like mid-table also-rans.

Lincoln are a dirty team aren't they? Didn't expect that.

Yeah, all the tricks in the book but nothing we've not seen a hundred times before. Not a problem with that, being cynical as fuck is what you need to win games away from home in this league. By our standards we actually played alright up until we conceded and then because this team is so weak mentally, that was that. Lincoln just cruised it second half as they knew we had fuck all, it's annoying too as I think their goalie is dodgy as hell and usually is every time I've seen him over the past few seasons, we basically had the one effort from distance and he let it in. Ref was wank all game with his own bizarre interpretations of the rules and denied us a definite penalty second half and Waterfall lasted the whole match without getting sent off.

By my calculations our 'strikers' have contributed the total of 1 goal this season, McDonagh against Guiseley. Worst group of players I've seen in 25 years of watching us.

Wasn't at the game but by the stats shows you had 4 yellow cards to our 1? We aren't going to just let teams roll us over, sounded like a professional performance again. 5 wins away now at Torquay, Macc, Tranmere and now Wrexham which are not easy places to get points, (we can gloss over beating Woking).

And a Nicky Clee cross leads to a sixth goal. Will McNamara still be York manager when he gets home?

SIX clean sheets in a row now. :ds:

We rode our luck a bit actually as North Ferriby were far better than us in the first half. Came out all guns blazing after the break though and Akintunde got the winner when through one on one with their keeper.

Torquay next.

Chuffed for Guiseley, and hope Mowgli's mane is keeping him warm out there. I'll live vicariously inside that result.

No Hallsey tonight, was he injured? We could have done with Dan Cowan on the bench but to be fair it sounded like the lads grafted and a point well deserved, Going back to last season we would have thrown away Saturdays win against NFU and come away from Holker street empty handed. We are seeing the extra quality in our albeit small squad showing now??

Could've and probably should've drawn or lost that. Referee and Town End linesman must've watching a different game to everybody else in the ground.

Looked clear to me (albeit from 100 yards away) that Sutton had scored in the first half and everybody around me agreed - reaction from Sutton players and fans was a dead giveaway.

Bizarre decisions all round, letting some bad tackles go and booking players for nothing, but then that's what we expect from this league.

Miller scored 2 cracking goals but there wasn't a lot of threat from us apart from some huge lumped balls to Lafayette who somehow managed to bring almost everything down. Somehow Sutton failed to put the ball in the net more than twice, missed some absolute sitters. We fell apart at the back after Moses' red card, and yet again decided to try and absorb pressure for the last 15 mins with 10 men. If it wasn't for a huge deflection on a Jim Stevenson strike I think we'd have lost that.

Don't feel too sorry for Sutton though, you know a team aren't up to much when even Dover supporters are criticising their goof ball.

Don't usually comment on such things but quite impressed with Sutton support, brought a few more than I expected.

Btw, how did the Vision get more fans in than Tranmere tonight? Another freebie, or...?

Sounds like the story of our season then, especially away from home. Wasn't there my self but Twitter was abuzz with Sutton-ite anger after the non goal. But if you don't take your chances then you lose.

Our away support has been decent enough this season, always been a good hardcore by feeder league standards but I've noticed a few of our newer fans travelling

Apparently injured yes. Given that we were missing two regular defenders we did very will to get anything out of that game. And I agree - it's been ages since we've managed to come from behind late on and get a result in any game, very refreshing to see!

They'll have more paying fans than us soon if we don't sharpen up. We were atrocious tonight. Could be worse I suppose, I could support York.

Hopefully nothing too serious, McCombe should be back for Saturday and if I am right in thinking it is only a one match ban for that particular red? I think if we have a fully fit squad for Saturday then I think we can end Boreham Woods unbeaten away record. Wont be easy though!

Sutton can't have to many complaints, missed too many chances and took a terrible penalty.

Did feel sorry for yous with that goal though, might've changed the game. We capitulate when we concede at the moment.

Football can go fuck itself, I'm done. We're a total joke, from top to bottom, it's been years of inept managements, abysmal decisions, driving fans away.

York City can fuck off, total shambles, we've been embarrassed in non-league multiple times but tonight is the worst result in our history.

What a total joke.

Watched the game on BT Sport, thought that the young Southport keeper did very well to keep the scores level in the first half, not quite so lucky in the second when it must have been past his bedtime and he dozed off somewhat. I have to admit that I didn't expect Solihull to be quite that good, looking forward to our visit there in a few weeks time, but hoping the weather is kind as there doesn't look to be too much cover. Funny chant of the night, but not if you are a Southport fan, was "you're not fit to wear our shirts!"

Dismal performance from Rovers tonight, even allowing for 6 first-teamers and Mekki being banned, injured or on international duty with St Kitts. Wrecsam next, never seem to beat them
