Ah I heard the forum was a bit of a shit show all round so I never bothered with it. We'll never know if staying over would've prevented a hammering, I'm reluctant to believe so in all honesty.

Grimsby were unlucky but if they hadn't parked the bus at 4-0 we may have scored 7 or 8.

That's what I was worried about. I didn't go last night so don't really like commenting on games I've not been to but having started really brightly but then being 3-0 down at the break I turned off the commentary. I did check on BBC to see that Pompey had scored straight after the restart so was rather worried that we'd be completely overrun so was quite relieved to see that the 4th goal was the final one.

It was a decent forum compared to other ones to be honest. There was still the stupid questions you get that a complete waste of time asking never mind answering but no more than usual.

I thought Bignot came across well and can see what he wants to do or why he does certain things, he just needs timw and its all about next season to be honest, its been a good season, could have been better but could also have been worse but I'm sure most would have taken 50 points with 10 games to go in our first season back.

Fentys answers were what annoyed me, as I said everything was about money and penny pinching, I think he wants to just get by from now on with losing the least amount possible until we get a new ground if that ever happens. Could be bad news for the future if he does have that attitude and the ground doesn't come off.

My wife and I stayed over from the Orient game and we've no money: so did a few other Town fans. Pity the team couldn't do the same.

Going to away games at the moment is not about the football though: it's the atmosphere, the crack (as the Irish would say) and the singing. Most likely not bother with another home game this season, but don't want to miss an away match.
