If they could somehow fluke a win I'd be ecstatic. As the days tick on I think I'm growing more concerned about what we probably need to do at Blackburn. It's categorically not a happy hunting ground for us.

Big pressure on you next weekend. I'm feeling pretty relaxed knowing we just have to win and hope for the best. If we were in you're position i'd be bricking it! The worst outcome would be if you lost 1-0 and we only won 1-0, to miss out on goal difference would be gutting.

Does anyone know what would happen if us and Ipswich were to finish level on points and goal difference? Head to head records?

You go above us on goals scored. Hence my concern.

There's bound to be some team to do a premature pitch invasion only to find out they didn't make the playoffs, ala Reading last season

I can honestly see Ipswich losing at Blackburn. It's just a case of whether any of the sides outside the play-off's can take advantage and leapfrog them with a win themselves.

I just hope Bournemouth somehow slip up tonight so we have a mild interest in potential automatic promotion on Saturday.

Saw the first few games on the FLS yesterday and I'm still scratching my head at the decision from Karanka to send your keeper up for a corner when you've pulled back from 2 goals down? I know they needed a win, but in the circumstances, it was incredibly bizarre.

Still, an absolutely ridiculous season in this league, far more exciting than the league above. Full credit if Bournemouth do the job later - although I'm still annoyed when I think of the game at Dean Court in 2008/09!

As a neutral, it's been excellent to follow, and I just hope the last week doesn't disappoint.

Wasn't particularly hopeful of an automatic promotion anyway.

I'm really not keen to play Ipswich in playoff semi-final/final.

We won't beat Reading.
One of Wolves and Brentford will win and therefore put us out of our misery.

You've beaten us at Pride Park already, and our defence has fallen apart since. You will beat us.

Unless you fail to play a goalkeeper, defence or midfield we won't score against you.

An absolute best outcome for us is 0-0, but no way will that happen.

Yeah but you could also see Norwich winning the title and were confident of us beating Middlesbrough 3-0 so...

I'm not right every time :bg:

Ewood Park is a tough place to go and get a result. And Rhodes & Gestede can tear any defence apart at this level.

If we score first, we are 100% safe IMO.

Rhodes concerns me far less than Gestede this season.

The mighty Rams!!!
For our game with reading I hope both teams shake hands on a 0-0. Our defence get a confidence boost plus 0 injuries, reading can be planning their hotel stay at the airport for their hollibobs.

What's more likely though is we take the lead, reading attack and score due to a comical piece of defending and they'll realise that we are actually pretty shit and beat us 3-1.

At least it's not going into the last day for us. Would be horrible seeing Fulham beat us on the final day again if there was something riding on it.

Us.Score a goal.No chance. Our players need a map to show them where the goal is.

So did Millwall's...
Millwall had scored 6 goals from the 6 games leading up to your fixture. We have scored 2 in our last 6, including now 4 games in a row without scoring.

As I said before, our best possible outcome is a 0-0.

It's probably already been touched on, but why the fuck did Karaoke send his keeper up? Surely a point is better than nothing and would have at least given them a sniff going into the final game.

Even if by some miracle that Ipswich and Derby lose, we still have to better Brentford's result, and all 3 have a much better goal difference than we do.
