They even themselves out as the season goes on. We lost a game against Ipswich thanks to Keith Stroud awarding them a penalty three yards outside the box. Barnsley should have had a man sent off about 1 minute before they scored their second goal. Bristol City's winner against us came from a corner that should have been a goal kick.

Anyway we're still doomed we're just enjoying the gallows humour. We need to win at the very least three of our final four games to get to 49 points and even that probably won't be enough. Brighton will hammer the final nail down on Monday and we'll be officially relegated the following Saturday against Cardiff. I reckon Blackburn will almost certainly join us if they lose to Forest and don't beat Bristol City on Monday.

Come Monday night I think we will have a Much clearer picture on who is staying up or not.
Think it will go to the wire as we all have a defeat in us.

Best Easter comeback since Jesus Christ himself.

Though wigan deserve relegating for allowing the Egg Chasing to dictate their kick off times.

Shocker of a day for Forest so far!
Good win by our boys and Blackburn too. We're still not out of this though. Avoid defeat on Monday and I reckon we're ok with Barnsley and Brum still to come to our place.

At least it's interesting at one end.

Blackburn's win makes it even more interesting for those who live on the A52.

As you were.

So frustrating knowing we can't get anything on Monday when everyone else are playing each other. Birmingham Burton is going to be colossal if Burton don't beat Ipswich. Bristol City will be dragged right back into it if Blackburn beat them as well. Forest will be fine with their easy fixtures. QPR away and Ipswich at home. That should be 6 points and safety for them.

It's getting desperate now :conf:

Blues players had to be restrained after the match and apparently there was a 'huge row' in the dressing room afterwards.

Burton on Monday now is an absolute must-win, we're not getting it from Villa, Huddersfield or Bristol City.

Don't say that, we're the ultimate bad run enders.

Baffled at that Forest result, hand on heart they were one of the best sides I've seen this season when they beat us last week.

Everyone around us picking up odd wins here & there, we're winless in 10 and don't look like we've got a win in us, players reportedly separated at the post match warm down, scrapping in the dressing room, Zola has said he thinks it's a good thing

I've seen us relegated many many times, this has got that sinking feeling written all over it

Forest are in the mire as well methinks Trev, a dreadful set of results for both of you TBH. I wouldn't want to be Zola if you lose to the Villa! :eyes:
We aren't safe yet as we, obviously won't get anything at Brighton but with Blackburn away plus Barnsley and yourselves at our place, I'm hoping we're finally hitting a bit of form just in time.

I wouldn't want to be Zola if the result goes against us Monday home to Burton, the feeling amongst some sections of the crowd I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if there were encroachments onto the pitch toward him.

I got my tickets for your place on the last day, was hoping for a stress free day final day for a change, the longer it goes on the more I think we may be coming to your place needing a win and hoping other results go out way. Makes me sick thinking back to that day at Bolton a few years back, I couldn't go through that again!!:msi:

I think you'll be safe by then, be nice if we're both safe and have an animosity free afternoon!!! Somehow, with Blues, it never seems to pan out that way...

Have you sold out for the game at ours fella? It's hopefully, our 'goodbye and thanks' to Tammy day, if we're safe obviously.
We've all been there with the last day thing and it's not pleasant, imagine if we both need a point?? I would put my house on a draw if that happened!

Not half as much as I would if (or when) we beat you next week. A Che Adams winner is what it's gonna be :animatedf:

Can't see a match thread for it, just seen the highlights from Wigan's game, what the actual fuck was the Barnsley keeper doing for the first two!?

You looked like Brazil when you played us, what happened?

I do want you to stay up, but part of me wants to see the look on Dave Davis face if you do go down. Smug twat...

I can't see it mate. Personally I think we are going to hammer you. 3.0 is my prediction.
