Going to be a long, miserable afternoon today I reckon. Half empty stadium save for the away end and will be played off the park and well beaten.

Bring it on.

Our game is "Kids go free" which could be considered as bordering on abusive...the experience could cause the little darlings trauma that puts them off footy for life.

One of my mates brought his kids to their first game when we played Plymouth earlier in the season, his four year old daughter started crying when we went two goals down and was pretty inconsolable for the rest of the game...hopefully she puts the experience behind her, doesn't bear a grudge on her dad, and becomes a lifetime Rover!

I feel your pain. I'm just heading out to Stadium MK with the same thoughts.

Kennedy's gone with three at the back and decided to move Roughan from LB to CB, with Boyes coming in. No Mandroiu on the bench so I'm guessing that's why he's gone with a back three and not a four.

Only 5 subs, we've run out of defenders!

We’ve rested Dion Charles, Declan John and Kieran Lee today. Our bench looks really strong though. Dion Charles is probably the most important player for our pressing so will be interesting to see how that goes. I can’t remember the last league game he didn’t start?

Not the worst lineup for Vale though got no faith in Stone even if the back three keep them at arms length. Nice to see us go to a more standard 3-5-2 though.

Head says it’ll be difficult one for us and say 2-0 to Bolton. Heart says Dennis off the bench to score the winner and give their dickhead manager the wanker sign.

Same team as Tuesday for Cambridge - which is a bit of a worry given two long trips in a week, but we have virtually nothing on the bench other than in the back five…

That’s a shocker for Oxford. I think the choice for their board is simple. Sack Robinson or if they don’t they will be a L2 club next season which would be disgraceful with a squad like that.

No one new is back, Harrison is starting but has been playing for a few games now, Ojo was rested midweek.

Plus our pitch makes yours look like a carpet.

Sam Baldock went off injured and Browne may also have come off with an injury. Bet they are regretting letting snakey Taylor leave now!

We’ve started so slack here. Could be 2/3 down not just 1.

We really look like a team that's going to get relegated whenever we play a league game. Where's the fight from Tuesdays game ffs

Probably be as good as it gets today as we’ll self destruct at the back at some point but amazing what happens when you have a couple of proper forwards up top. Encouraging for other games down the line.

There we go. Vale really could and should have been 2/3 up after 8 mins. We started so slowly. But starting to knock it around nicely now. I can see why Vale fans are so frustrated generally. They looked like world beaters for 10 minutes. All over us.

You're making us look like Madrid at the moment.
The one thing we had going for us was that we'd be hard to beat, we'd give the bigger sides in this league a run for their money even if we ended up losing.

Now we've just become pushovers and just like last week the game is lost within 15 minutes of it starting. And the fact we showed on Tudsday what we can do just makes it even worse

2-1 out of nowhere. Will be 4 or 5 now.
No way you can complain about the ref so far today. Given you absolutely everything. We’ve been poor other than for about 15 minutes in the middle of the half. This is as bad as we’ve been since the turn of the year. We always play crap against you.

You don’t deserve to be losing for sure but I’m fully expecting Evatt to dish out a bollocking at half time. I think we’ll come out firing in the second half

Terrible game until the goal, but lots of chances since. Looked a very tight decision to offside the Cambridge goal, but then the 'foul' at the end of the half to deny our goal was baffling.
You just know we need a second here

As has become the norm, we look the better team, yet concede 2 goals out of 2 shots on target. It's getting silly.

I’ll say this though we will probably lose this its the most encouraging performance from Vale in a long time. No complaints Bolton have the lead as part of the game is stopping the opposition from scoring which we make too easy at times. That not withstanding we’ve done alright.
