Think we’ve won the stand out result of the night there, would’ve taken a point before the game but to go to a team who we’ve such a poor record against and comprehensively batter them in their own back yard was a cracking performance.

To have successive dominant 4-1 wins away is really something and hopefully keeps confidence and momentum going.

Happy days.

Pleased to win that, FGR had their fair share of chances which Farman kept out, but for once we've been clinical when it was needed. Interesting lineup as alluded to earlier which I wouldn't want to take forward, seemed a bit easy for FGR to get through the lines at times. Hopefully Telford getting off the mark will be a huge boost with more goals to follow.
We've got some great attacking individuals so do approach OK but thought you kept your shape excellently and keeper mopped up well the odd time he was needed. Never felt we were knocking on the door.

Stockport too good tonight. Not sure if our game plan was all wrong or just Stockport very good at stopping us doing what we wanted. But Tracy just wasn't in the game. Having no Tabiner was a big blow as he's so good and calm on the ball and then to compound that and lose Powell was a massive blow to us. We just don't have the squad County have to bring in another adequate replacement like they did with Barrie coming off and Wooton coming on.

There is no way Stockport dont get promoted in my eyes, they look strong a over the pitch. We need to re group and go again, it will be tough if both Powell and Tabiner are out though. I know we have a few others walking wounded also, Demetriou playing with a broken toe and a few others playing with niggles.

Christ alive. That was horrific.

MK genuinely couldve had double figures, 4 flatters us. I think they hit the woodwork 4 times and Harry Lewis made a number of cracking saves, some point blank.

Our squad is filled with rubbish. The first team could probably just about compete for the top 7 but behind that our squad stinks. Recruitment over the summer has been shambolic.

Oduor, Tulloch, Afoka, Taylor, Ridehalgh, Oyegoke. None of them should be anywhere near the club. We've regressed so, so far since last season when we just needed a few tweaks.

I'd chuck Tyler Smith and Osadebe into the mix too. Smith doesn't even loot National League standard. Osadebe is a greedy twat and loses the ball everytime he picks it up. Gent should have been sacked along with Hughes and Hodges too.

Looks like Colchester was a one off/fluke. Back to being weak as piss tonight.

Barrow are a good well organised side, unlike us. Took their chances well and then played it out. We huffed and puffed but second half especially we never looked likely to get back in it.

Champagne being put on ice as we speak for the players and management when they return back to Edgeley Park after that game.

Privately, they believe it's done now. They are up.

Stockport were easily the best team we've played against this season. We just weren't in it at all, and they probably should have had a penalty too. Head and shoulders above any other team we've played against - organised, solid, and although they didn't create a huge amount of chances, they were clinical when they did.

No excuses, they were just better. It's extremely hard in this league to compete against the sides with deep pockets, and there's no shame in losing that. We go again next time.

Yeah.

Osadebe obviously signed last summer but he's just not very good.

I liked the look of Smith as a signing at the time but he's done less than nothing so far.

Literally no-one said this preseason.

Unexpected win for us at Swindon tonight, hopefully a new manager to follow.

Bit harsh sacking the mascot.

about to say, if wrexham don’t win the league with the money they’ve got it’d be a failure.

I reckon our keeper has had £50 on Hurst getting the sack.

Losing at home to colchester should be enough to set any alarm bells ringing tbh.

Notts our next league game at Gresty Road after FA Cup weekend so very interested to see how they get on at our place but from an impartial perspective Stockport are absolutely streets ahead of Wrexham and it's not even close. Mansfield a very good side as well but made two fatal errors and wasted a load of chances which is why they didn't win at our place.

I wouldn't put Wrexham in the same bracket as Mansfield or Stockport at all. Not saying they're shite or anything, but think they have a lot more deficiencies in their side than those two.

Yeah we aren't up to Stockports standard. They've always been a year ahead of us and nothing has changed this year. We still have areas of our team that need strengthening. We will do though - if we don't go up this year we will be stronger next season. I am firmly of the opinion we will end up between 4-7th, unless something goes disastrously wrong.

Mullin scored a very Mullinesque goal tonight. Slowly getting back to where he was pre-injury.

Depends which Notts turns up, at our best we’re bloody great, when we’re bad it can look a bit of a mess, but doubt we’ll have the consistency/solidity/depth of a fairly obvious top two of Mansfield and Stockport over a season. Third could be on, though.

Harrogate goal a unfortunate deflection.

To smash County 4-1 then do the same to our ultimate bogey team back to back is great stuff.

Walsall next, DJ goal guranteed.

Ironically it’s the same date today that he left us the first time.
And tomorrow is the anniversary of him being sacked by Ipswich.
One of them is surely gonna come in.

Reality hits hard or was it reality bites at this level? Either way we are very effective flat track bullies if you are average or poor at this level we win. We know that because we've had such an easy start to the season , by the end of October.

Literally no-one said this preseason.

You are probably right they waited till after both sides conceded 5 in their first game at this level. That Sutton thrashing seems a long time ago and thankfully a world away albeit we will continue to concede 4 or 5 every now and then amongst all the wins due to our style and personnel.

I'm surprised we are doing so well especially after playing in a really weak conference last, I hear maybe the poorest ever. Yet a good preseason and minimal change to the squad has helped. I am certain we will drop down the league once we play the likes of Wrexham Stockport Crewe etc , the top boys.

Just happy to be here and looking now at a top half finish.
