Winning it in Wrexham felt really special, being able to enjoy promotion in town with pretty much everyone from there joining in the celebrations, as well as the pitch invasion.

Where did your lot celebrate promotion? Wembley Park Nandos?

Of course wining it against what was it Borehamwood is super special compared to a day out at the national stadium winning at the Wembley.

The best day since Mickey Thomas obvs. After all those years suffering in non league more than most you fully deserved the title #hollywoodstyleeee

Here's my take on this thread:

Everyone having a nice time discussing Welcome to Wrexham and football docs and then the Notts fans have come in and tried to make it all about them once again.

Please could everyone make sure when starting a thread or replying to any discussion that you add a disclaimer onto the end of your posts that says that even though the above is your opinion that you additionally hereby state that you acknowledge that Notts County play really really superb football.

This is the kind of thing I've found entirely baffling from Wrexham fans since our paths first crossed last season. It's like you collectively can't cope with someone else also being happy/good.
Not sure if this is serious or you actually didn't clock the post I was responding to.

Notts fans are a special breed.

No, I didn’t. It’s your own fault for responding to the obvious wind-up fella though.

It’s generally alright on here, but you pretty much can’t read anything about Notts online these days without the first comment or whatever being from a Wrexham fan like ‘but what about us/Mullin/Parkinson’ or ‘didn’t win the league though did they’. And yes, I know some of ours can be as bad.

Anyway, I was in on my own and at a bit of a loose end last night so watched the first three episodes. I really enjoyed the one with Mullin and the autistic girl, thought it was really well done. The other two were a bit dull and fluffy.

I've noticed Wrexham fans seem to think many fans of other clubs has a massive thing about them. People really don't but it's a convenient and effective defence mechanism.

Hardly surprising since the media frenzy, shopping trips to Harrods and new found fanbase.

Being called a special breed from someone from or around Wrexham is a compliment in my eyes.

Obviously you've got to take the word of fam who has spent two spells being #stained in non league. Grimsby fans are somewhat experts down there in NL.
Uh oh somebody’s obviously TRIGGERED.

I CBA to watch it although I'm always happy to see us on TV unless we lose.

Can someone give me a nudge when the episode that covers our home match against Wrexham at the beginning of this season is available? From what I remember, some goals were scored at the home end so I and my son might feature. Ta muchly.

Love the series, don’t begrudge the club any success that money brings, it’s just not an underdogs story because without the duo coming in then this wouldn’t be happening.....underdogs is getting to places without a pot to piss in.....they need to drop that narrative.....it’s a fairytale story.....and we would all like that for our clubs.

So TRIGGERED but so TRUE

Uh oh you double dipped.

Back on topic, haven't got the channel so haven't seen it yet but would definitely watch it if I could. I'm sure I'll find the National League football stuff interesting and I like the owners when they've been in the media in small doses. Plus I like Mullin.

Obviously they have been very respectful to the world's oldest professional football club knowing it would make great television, drama and good for ratings, if they had a title rivals. Also showed real class (as did a lot of people in the game) when our young Chief Exec sadly and unexpectedly passed away.

We've got similar aged owners but that's pretty much where the similarities end as they are very reluctant to do anything in media.

This series is about last season so your match won't be featured unfortunately. Not sure if they're doing one on this season, imagine they are but one of the Wrexham lot can probably confirm.

Notts fans pretending they don't know how the series works and that they aren't EAGERLY awaiting the episodes to drop each week.

"At a loose end so I watched it". "Let me know when we are featured".

It's ok to admit you want to watch it lads

Beautiful grouping of 'Notts fans' , look just above here is one Notts fans who wants to watch it. After all it's not every day you get a programme focusing on the National League #stain. Bonus obviously if it in includes the Stylish Magpies sexy proper football.

If it's anything like the Sunderland series it is a very enjoyable and interesting watch. That's one of the best I've seen.

Oh Master D , have you got to grips with world time zones yet? :cool1: it's going to blow your mind :bg:

Notts County with all these new international fans who don't go to games. You hate to see it.

Hey we took him back and you had somehow ruined him so no apology needed. Thanks for Peter Ward though.

We possibly need to apologise for the Martyn Chalk for Kieron Durkan swap.

Note to everyone:
Adam Stag living in Manchester is now an obsolete joke. It has been replaced by The Viking Magpie living overseas.

That's a clear yellow card awful comment. Nobody could ever beat Adam's repeated reminders to himself and everyone reading this forum that he doesn't live anywhere near Mansfield. That's poor to give up on that longstanding joke so quickly.

Tbh I don't blame him. Adam outskirts of Manchester right?

P.S. I don't live overseas. It's called travel give it a go SoC I can highly recommend it.

You've mentioned it several times this week. It's nice that you're so proud to be on holiday that you're taking so much time to post about it on a League Two football forum while you're out there.

Several? Interesting.

Just correcting a wrong assumption that I was posting about the world famous Welcome to Wrexham in the wee hours GMT.

P.S. Work trip , not a holiday. But closer than Master D so I'll take it.

I don't understand who watches these documentaries other than fans of the club.

I tried watching that Sunderland one for about 5 minutes and it was mind numbing.

do people actually watch this kind of tripe?

I assume wrexham scoring 20 and conceding 20 is an attempt to play the circus act to appease to the unfortunate lower IQ american audience?

That Sunderland one was brilliant. The scene trying to decide what music to play over the tannoys pre match is unreal TV. And the deadline day shambles
