Joey Jones has resigned for 2015-16. Delighted with that, he's versatile, and it means that we're only 3 players short of a Starting XI :woo:

So far we've done amazing in keeping all these players from that successful season (apart from payne obviously), would love it if we're able to sign up Saah and Mcnerney as well, would be quality.

I think McNerney/Clarke/Saah are putting themselves in the FL shop window and if they don't get a contract they'll drop back down. If 1 or 2 of them rejoin we're definitely in for an exciting season :D

Aswad Thomas at LB and we basically have a team.

The spine of the team is really coming together now. Can see one of Clarke - Saah - McNerney signing but it might not be until later in the summer.

Grimsby will be announcing the signings of Gowling and Arnold today.

Bradley Wood should be confirmed for Lincoln soon as well.

Probably get stick for saying I wouldn't have minded having Wood back to replace a seemingly departing Magnay. Good player, good signing.

Our side (bar potentially Hearn) is looking wonderfully average again, how very Lincoln.

Bradley Wood, wasn't he decent for Grimsby like, a millennia ago?

Who!? Any opinions of him Halifax, Dale or any other fans?

I didn't see a great deal of him, but the general consensus was that he worked very hard and there just wasn't much end product.

Although given how shit we were when we had him that might not have been solely his fault.

He's short, relatively stocky and buzzes about so probalby works best in a 4-3-3 out wide

Also we've signed Elliot Whitehouse after his release from Notts County. Heard good things from Nuneaton fans, what did you see of him DSL?

Not surprised to see him released at Notts County. I think Conference is his level. He has a good work rate but just lacks composure and that killer final pass.

Gowling's doing his old trick of pretending that he's not going to the Club he's actually signing for.

"On the way to sign for my new club. Wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at Grimsby for making me feel so welcome last season"

Bit harsh crazy he's only 23.
Got 6 goals last season for a struggling side, got to be better than Caprice!

Lincoln sign Chris Bush from Welling. Not Woody??

Whenever saw Bush at Welling he was absolutely awful! Poor signing even by Lincoln standards

Wood was well liked here. Always puts a shift in and doesn't back out of challenges, which was great to see from a youngster when he was with us. Not particularly great technically, but solid enough for this level. I think he only left us because we didn't offer him better terms? Am I right in thinking he played CM quite a bit for Alfreton? Was their penalty taker last season, hence the goals.

Wasn't he the hilariously bad one against Barnet?

I seem to remember laughing at him in the highlights when he fucked up everything before getting himself sent off

Bush is a LB, Wood is a RB so it won't be instead of.

We've had him before, on loan from Gateshead.

I liked Bradley Wood when he was here, tough tackler - liked to get stuck in! Gives 100%, scored a few peno's for Alfreton I think?

Yes thats the one. He was also pretty dire against us. Conceded two pens in our 3-2 win at Welling and was at fault for at least one in our 2-2 draw at Home

Yes Woody has been played in Midfield a lot this season but is not effective in that position at all IMO
