He's basically been out for two years through injury and never in a million years a left winger and never will be either.

Now seen some of the game from yesterday and we were way below what we've seen so far this season, which is good or bad depending on which way you want to look at it.

Always see Lincoln fans saying "not bad for fat useless lump" but have never actually seen anyone say he's a fat useless lump.
Just a running joke from last season with SoC.

Tremendous strike that, It was one of those when you knew it was going into the back of the net even before he made contact with the ball.
Aldershot were the first team to get behind McNulty this season and were given tons of space down the flanks. Other than that Tranmere's performance was good.
That shed behind the goal looks a bit tinpot these days but doesn't half create a good atmosphere, was like going back to 80's, good stuff!
Last time I visited Aldershot 30 years ago the town centre was neat and tidy and reasonably prosperous. It's gone down hill a bit since then. Had a few pints in the George before the game and noticed lots of people wandering around aimlessly who didn't look like they had a quid between them, could of been anywhere up north.

Could any of you guys advise me....I believe there is a weekly BT Sports show which shows the goals from all the National League games. Any idea what day and time this is normally on as I have said I have a bit of an interest.

Cheers,

They're also uploaded to YouTube around Monday lunchtime and available on their website. Usually posted in the highlight thread on here, too.

Best part of yesterdays game with Guiseley was the friendly banter between both sets of fans standing together sheltering from the rain. No animosity or bad feeling about last years debacle (you all know what Im talking about) and as for the footie it was as piss poor as the weather.

Agree with all of that, neither team deserved to score, 0-0 about as much as both teams deserved.
Great atmosphere in the shed first half, made by both sets of fans. Put a smile on my face which was more than the pitchside efforts could manage!

Is he unplayable against everyone else or just us? Hate playing your lot because of him.

No he was unplayable against us x 2 last season. We'd have won at Lincoln last season had someone been able to mark him and we'd not been down to 10 for final 20 minutes (Hannah went off injured and we'd used all our subs).

Opposition fans get far too offended by Rhead. If you're going to call him a fat bastard all game then be prepared to take some stick back when he scores against you.

I imagine he's got this at every ground he's ever been to in his life (the ones with more than 5 fans anyway). Saying that, he is an annoyingly good target man and won practically everything against our defence last night. I think I was more impressed with Arnold for you guys though as he looks superb technically and I'm quite surprised he's still down at this level.

Lady in front of me at CFC v FGR in her naivete summed up why FGR are so disliked:~
LOADS of MONEY and QUALITY, but no CLASS.
Fuck knows what that's supposed to mean.
All your supporters I chatted with were very pleasant and friendly with quorn pies being about the only issue raised.

Think the Torquay fans were calling him something along those lines during the game last night
The fat monk is another I've seen.
Certainly surprised me by how well he's done for us, amazing what being regularly can do for your goalscoring record.
My daughter's favourite Lincoln player.

Who cares? As much as everyone (bar maybe FGR) in this division hates to admit it, they'd kill to have him. Absolute top lad as well telling the Torquay fans how many he'd scored, great service to the public.
That was very amusing at the end after his second goal during the subsitions.

I'd love Rhead up front for us. Or Parkin from 3 years ago, or any other lump that can play football.

Can't be bothered to look back for the quote but I think he's talking about Danny Whitaker, not Rhead.

Agree totally, was exactly the same when Jon Parkin was playing for us, he used to get dogs abuse from opposition fans but really enjoyed sticking the ball in the back of the net then celebrating in front of them.

I agree.
The Chester fans who I came into contact with before game in their club bar were very pleasant to us all and remarked that the FGR fans were great.
Obviously one lady out of 1, 820 who had a different opinion to the rest.
Or was she complaining because of FGR fans celebrating winning away from home at Deva Stadium and topping table for first time?

Kevin Ellison is another one. No-one really liked Ben Tomlinson when we played for us. Richard Brodie is in the same category, but he just comes across as a bit thick.

Bit different. Ellison invites the abuse and is most certainly a cock, whereas Rhead just gets targeted cos' he has a bit of a belly.

Did your Top Boys not travel then? You should have punished Guiseley for WHAT THEY DID.

Rhead looks like he has an IQ of under 70. The only player to look more permanently confused than him is Agbonlahor.
This could develop into a competition to find the most confused looking footballer, I will see your Agbonlahor and raise you Iain Dowie.
