Given Port Vale games in hand and the improved form of Bury and Oldham I think getting to 52 points is a minimum to be sure, so that would be 3 wins from 9 for us, I think for the bottom 2 to stay up would take championship form now, and Swindon need a good run desperately.

We certainly are not out of it, with no game Tuesday as the Millwall home game postponed due to their FA Cup match, and if results go against us and we lose Friday at Vale we could be in 21st place :(

I think 53 or 54 should be enough

The bottom 3 can plan for trips to Lincoln and Morecambe. Everything to play for that last relegation place, I reckon it may go to the last game.

Oldham's fixtures look pretty shocking to me. I'd be surprised if they hit 50 points.

Big game for both Vale and ourselves tomorrow night.
A win for us should be enough to start planning for League One again next season.

No more than 50 points might be enough.

Goodbye fellow league 1 fans. I'll be making my acquaintance with the good people in the league 2 forum very soon.

If Chesterfield could have nicked a winner you'd have won me £125! Bastards.

It's fair to say Coventry and chesterfield probably won't be troubling the top half of league 2 next season with their respective cash problems!

Looks like one space up for grabs at the moment. Bottom 3 look finished.

Trying my best to stay positive and believe that we'll stay up but I just can't see how. Yes we have games in hand but there's nothing to suggest that we'll win them. Our away record is embarrassing.

I know Bruno was a disaster but has anything actually improved under Brown? Results certainly haven't.

We have a squad of about 35 with about 5 decent players. Says it all for me.

I'd say Vale are only in with a chance because of them games in hand. Huge results for us and Oldham tonight. 6-8 points left to get I think before we can say we are safe.

We probably would've lost tonight even if we'd played well, but we were terrible.

Still, another game gone and the gap hasn't been closed.

I'm looking at the table and thinking we need 9pts from the last 8 games. That would put us on 52 - and I simply cannot see Vale picking up another 15pts or Swindon another 17pts before the season finishes.

A huge win for us tonight.

I'm relatively confident that someone might survive on less than 50 this year.

While Ben Toner gifted Bury a get out of jail card tonight. obviously affects more than just are (unlikely) play off push, but also everyone down at the bottom too. He should be sacked as a ref after tonight's performance.

Are you referring to the two yellows for poor dives or to the penalty given when Leigh gets taken out? Those decisions seemed fine to me.

But not to me, all about angles I guess, I think Sincs made a meal of having his heels clipped, but still was technically a foul, the second one isn't as clear cut. As for the Pen think that was very soft and even some on the Bury forum are saying they thought it was a dive. Don't get me wrong decisions equal out over a season, however there was various incidents which Bury got treated lightly and others where we were treated harshly. I saw the incidents sort of live and on the replay and I would say they were incorrect with maybe the second booking being the most near the knuckle. But have seen far worse many times.

Well the fat lady is singing now, we are as good as down, and we might not be in league 2 for long , with Power asset stripping our club, we could even be conferance the season after next.
Fans are now, not looking to renew season tickets, and who can blame them, because under Williams and Power's ineptitude, out of the last 50 odd games , we have won 13. Playing tippy tappy football in your own penalty box is suicide.
Im getting old now , i know i wont be at the CG much next season, and if i do go it will more than likely be using my sons season ticket, (the fool) as im no longer going to put money in Powers Swiss bank account.:surr:

Vigoroux, Brophy, ormond-ottewill and one other (possibly Jordan Stewart) not involved last night due to a non-football related incident rumoured to be them out on the lash and involved in a fight.

Serious indiscipline and lack of respect at our place currently sums up the shambolic nature here currently.

9 points from 17 away games is atrocious and disgusting.

Don't worry - they won't (hopefully) be coming up.

Better to hope for Tranmere or Dagenham
