Great boxers like Canelo and Cotto couldn't get near him, so the answer is a certain no. He wouldn't land a shot of note unless Mayweather started pissing about a bit. Would be interesting if he did go into boxing though, just to see what sort of level he is.
I would like to see Canelo fight GGG before I class him as great.

Britain's no.1 middleweight

As opposed to the man who is a world champion and actually beat Eubank.

A bit of noise surrounding BJS fighting Canelo. If BJS gets in shape and avoids going too far abroad then he can outbox Canelo to a points win. It'll end up in Vegas or something though and he'll lose a dodgy decision.

Expecting an announcement from Amir Khan soon also.

Khan - Brook is apparently made for 27th May.

Just catching up with the betting for the Bellew Haye fight. How is Bellew 5/1 to win?

Even allowing for Bellew moving up to Heavyweight, Haye hasn't had a proper fight for years and is 36.

Khans speed would be too much for Brook i think, would be a very interesting fight though, just hope it happens sometime this year.

Brook has good timing and I just can't see a way that Khan could get through 36 minutes without being tagged.

Yep, I used to think a few years ago that Khan would beat Brook. Not now though, Brook would demolish him. Probably a carbon copy of the Canelo fight, Khan winning the first few rounds but first time he has to take a flush shot it's goodnight. That chin is just too terrible.

I do think the fight has lost of bit of its appeal though, having seen both of them knocked out recently.

If Khan can take Maidana's best shot then he can take Brook's. The only way Brook wins is if he stops him, it's probably the most likely outcome because this is the sort of fight where Khan will want to stand and trade with all the animosity between them.

If it's played smart though I can see Khan winning the majority of the rounds.

I'm also kind of interested in how Khan punches now he's corrected his alleged broken hand. He's more than likely chatting shit about it but the curiosity is there.

Is there any decent boxing podcasts out there? I've tried ringside but wanted to know if there was something better I'm missing out on...

He did take Maidanas best shot but he's been knocked out twice since, both brutally and that takes a lot out of fighters.

As has been said I also think Khan will probably win the first few rounds before being caught, he just doesn't have the ring IQ to get through a full fight sticking to a game plan and will get involved at some point and I can't see that ending well for him.

Haye hits to hard. Haye rounds 1-3 victory is 9/2. I find that unbelievable.

Nice to see the Crolla-linares Rematch announced. I'm friends with Will Crolla (Anthonys brother) so I'm team million dollar all the way, however I do think Linares will outbox him again. Either way 2 class acts in and out of the ring and can't wait to be at the Manchester arena to see them go at it again

Brooks timing and accuracy would him knock khan out for me.

So what's going to happen in Brooklyn over night. I can see DeGale just doing what he always does; starting well but then letting Jack back into it. He should have enough to win it but will be very tough again on the road, potentially even more so with Mayweathers influence.

I've actually backed the draw!!

Jack is good, anyone who can out-jab Groves is a proper boxer. DeGale should be winning on points but you just never know, Jack is on the side of the Mayweather promotion after all...

De Gale is a lovely little boxer who believes his own hype. I won't be completely sold on him until he can stick his plan and not let his opponent in.

He'll outbox most and whilst not the biggest, he hits hard enough to gain respect. Shame he's a bit of a nob.
